Hey guys. Each and everyday we are creating so many discussions in this site. Some are getting very good responses, some with average responses. What do you feel when there is no response for your discussion that you have started. Does that really hurt you or you don't care about it?
Be frank and tell the truth.

When you go through a lot of effort to make a quality discussion it surely stinks if you get no responses at all. Luckily when you have a couple of good mylot friends they will at least take the time and effort to make you at least one or two replies.
When I make a topic that's pretty short and fast I'm less bummed to see it not receiving any reponses (so far), but it's still not very nice. But in this case, I can blame myself for not trying harder .
The thing that bugs me the most is the long list of non-resolved discussions that doesn't shrink and you have discussions that are two years old and still no responses! That does look a bit sad...

Happy to have your response. Ya some friends do give us one or two replies. But that won't work out everytime. Some are there without responses. Lets hope for the best and work.

It bites really. For one I take it as a personal blow that no one on here found it worthy of replying to. But that makes me really question what I posted and try to find areas I could improve for next time. Secondly it bites because I won't get credit for that post if I do not get one response.

Hello vidhy and welcome to myLot. I have a few discussions that don't have any response but i don't let it worry me. Getting a discussion to have responses is all in the timing that it is started and where it is posted. I'm not a great one to start a lot of discussions and it would be great to have a lot of people respond to the few that I do start but what the hey, it happens. Sometimes they just get pushed to the bottom to fast to be noticed.

I think that seniors in mylot are taking in positive sense. Its for us(new ones) who get hurt in this. hehe. Happy mylotting.

Well......man !!!yes it becomes disappointing....when one does not get any responses....!!!
One creates a discussion....thinking that this is good discussion, and that he/she will get a lot of response as he believes it to be important!!! and what he gets is no reponse!!!
That really hurts!!!
Thanks for the discussion pal!!!

I will be a little frustrated. Actually I experience that 2 times. But I will try to find another interesting topic and initiate a good discussion. People come from all over the world and I believe it is not easiy to make every one interest about the post.

I don't like no responses because I can't resolve the discussion, if that is the case. I fortunately only have one discussion with no response.
I think my discussion got buried in an onslaught of posts by other mylotters. Once your discussion moved to the second or third page, most people don't look at it anymore.
The topic could be boring, too. Mostly because it may have come up numerous times already. Being new, you wouldn't know it. I haven't looked at your discussions but will have a look at some with the zero responses shortly;)

Looks like you don't have a zero response discussion anymore. Hang in there. I sometimes look through the no answer discussions and answer a few. But I'm tired of the ones asking about things like favorite color, how mylot functions, favorite food, .....;)

Well, I know what you mean about that, it is refer to the topic of the discussion you start, maybe it is not get so interesting for some of Mylotters, I don't feel hurt because I don't take this personal it's just the topic is not that much interesting, try to make more friends, and try to find some good topics, and I think if you can't find any topic interesting to start a discussion, you can just response to the discussions that other start, you can earn for that too, and you can upload some photos here, you can earn for that too.
Have a nice day and happy posting.

You haven't mentioned whether you got any "0 responses" or not,but i have 3 discussions with 0 responses...i dont know why they got 0 responses and i dont even remember those discussions..it may be because it is not on my friends' interests or it is not interesting or something else...and to be honest,i'm not hust or anything like that with those 0 responses....rather i started some other good discussion which could gain people's attention!! and i think since last week i didn't got any such things...

I would be kind of upset just because at this site people write to look for answers...and not getting any. Someone could really need advice or input and not get anyone participating. I try to help out as much as I can. If I see a question whether it is serious or just random. I do however prefer the serious. It makes me feel like I am helping soemone out.

Hmmm. When no one replies.
I think maybe because I made lousy discussion,
which no one wanted to respond,
so it doesn't really hurt, it's the poeple's choice if they wanna reply or not. :)
i can't blame myself for it! :3

It does not mean that it is a lousy discussion. It just means at the time
some members did not find it fitting to thier interest at that time is all.
Give it time as you're new here. Things get easier and you'll get better at starting discussions, and you will also get more respopnses with time being here.
HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

For me, it definately depends on the discussion. I have a lot of discussions I have started over time. Some of them I have gotten a lot of good responses, and then there are the Few on here, that I might have only received 2 or so back to as well. I guess it just depends on the mood of the people here, and what they are interested in discussing at the time. Same with all of my friends who have their notifications on, etc. at the time as well. But all I can do is just move on. Post back to discussions here that others have started, and also continue to start a New discussion or two hoping for the best from there.

I'm not hurt when I don't get any responses, but thankfully it hasn't happened too often. I guess it leaves me kind of perplexed. I think I found an interesting discussion to begin and I get very little or no response.
For instance, this morning I started a discussion asking if Mylot had a convention would you think about attending. It was well thought out and not one I've seen
here before, yet I only got one response. However, I have asked questions about
simple things and they seem to get the most responses.
I also think that popular members tend to get the most responses and that's an honest answer.

May be ya. We can't understand that. We might have not expected much response for some discussion. But unfortunately the replies will be flooding. Hehe. Even I started a discussion named 'Why did you join Mylot for? Money of Fun?' Frankly I didn't expect so much replies. But I got. Thanks for everyone who replied. Happy mylotting. Have fun.

Whenever I had 0 response for my discussions,I would feel very upset. I would start questioning myself why no one wanted to respond to my discussions. What were the problems actually? So,every time I try to respond to those discussions from my interests which are freshly posted there just to encourage Mylotters keep on posting.
