Okay... my free-for-all weekend discussion starts. Post your week/weekend or read up on mine. Or share something silly so the weekend can be a bit brighter. I know its been now over a month since I did anything like this, so I'll also welcome any other things happening in life or on the lot. LIVE!!! From the HyperAstra Space Fortress, hovering in mid-Earth orbit, yet somehow able to broadcast itself right to the pleasure center of your brain, it is....! Pro's Free-For-All Weekend!!!! And a fine how do you do to everyone! This weekend is brought to you powered by Monster Energy ;p My week was just more hard work. Its now the story of my life, I guess. Add on to this my lended assistance to help out a few school teachers pack up and organize their classrooms (to those who've paid attention, yes this is a continuation from June). I did 4 days straight and worked quite hard at it. Even this weekend I just did nothing but relax and hope the Bayer Body & Pain was working right. I'm still sore right now, but its better than yesterday. My freetime took another hit too, naturally. But I was able to get a few anime in and I got some hit and miss gaming in. And now the main event. How was your week and weekend? Or do you have something fun you wish to share? Or do you have anything else to discuss?

I see you visited my vacation nightmare, so I am just happy to report I am still alive :) I'm really p!$$ed that a maid apparently dropped my laptop on the marble floor of our hotel room and shattered my LCD screen, so I spent Wednesday-Friday looking for a cheap replacement only to give up and afro-engineer one of my spare monitors from my desktop to it to write this comment. Then today I went to kickboxing class, then went on a 5 mile hike and a 12 mile bike ride around a local dam. Thought it would alleviate some of my stress, but I'm not that lucky. Let me know when you are doing your cruise next year, I may have to book the same excursion :P

"I see you visited my vacation nightmare, so I am just happy to report I am still alive:)" +1 Glad you are fine, and grateful nothing serious happened. "I'm really p!$$ed that a maid apparently dropped my laptop on the marble floor of our hotel room and shattered my LCD screen, so I spent Wednesday-Friday looking for a cheap replacement only to give up and afro-engineer one of my spare monitors from my desktop to it to write this comment." Gracious... And I'm betting there was a no liability policy or travel insurance didn't cover it. LCD replacements for laptops are pretty expensive, usually they can cost more than what the whole laptop was sold for. If you need a new laptop or computer, there are plenty that can be acquired at lower prices. And I'm touched at what you went through all that rigg-engineering to comment here. "Then today I went to kickboxing class, then went on a 5 mile hike and a 12 mile bike ride around a local dam. Thought it would alleviate some of my stress, but I'm not that lucky." Running for Superwoman? You'd get my vote. I couldn't imagine doing that at 120%. There's no way I'm going to attempt this in my "tenderized" state. Hmm, but no go on the stress relief? I'll have to come up with something to at least get you chuckling. Hopefully I can think of something. "Let me know when you are doing your cruise next year, I may have to book the same excursion:P"

My weeks tend to be more like weekends and my weekends like weeks, as I work on weekends and only do so sometimes doing the week. My week has been phone, I have got my exam results, enrolled for my second year at college, been out over the town and relaxed with my boyfriend. Whereas my weekend has been spent at work and trying to earn money on the internet.

Interesting perspective. But that's why I include encouragement for talking about the week too Elix. Seems like on your end things are going nice and fine! Congrats on your second year at college.

As for my week, it's been like all the other weeks since April......trying to stay busy and not go crazy being put on medical leave from work. I did some scrapbooking, mylotting, and a few things around the house. All of which takes a little longer, with limited use of left wrist. As for the weekend, we have my s/o's daughter with us this weekend, which is a first in a while, she's had a busy summer. He is going to take her school shopping today......you notice I said 'he', she's 14, been there done that, I raised two girls, it's his turn lol. Other than that I'm just going to scrapbook and relax.

Mmm hmm. I did not know about the specific medical situation. I hope the wrist recovers first and foremost. And yes, I do hope you don't go too looney being put on medical leave; stay busy but stay happy and comfortable too Palong. I don't recommend doing what I do to stay busy as it's been hectic. I hope the s/o and his daughter get what they need for school shopping. Enjoy your scrapbooking and relaxation. I just thought of something... I might add a music of the weekend (for relaxing) and/or photo of the weekend (for fun). I don't know how your post got that idea in my head, but uh, thanks!
