I don't think it has to be a bad thing to talk to yourself as long as you are aware you are doing it and you enjoy doing it. We all talk to ourselves from time to time, think about encouraging yourself ("come on, you can do it") or blaming yourself ("if I hadn't). I don't think you have to be worrying about shizofrenia just now, you are very aware of talking to yourself and as long as you and your environment don't see any problems I would keep enjoying myself doing so! .

OMG... I never thought I would find someone that could be like me...
I do! and its so funny when I laugh at something that came through my mind, cause I'm really sarcastic with my own thoughts, and my mom just stares at me, maybe thinkin I'm nuts or something...
I believe that its a healthy way to stay in touch with yourself and clear your mind up... or maybe I'm just crazy.!

My grandpa used to say "It's ok to talk to yourself, as long as you don't answer". Well I passed that mark years ago. Do I consider myself mentally unbalanced? No! I always tell people that I talk to myself because I always understand what I am talking about and never have to explain what I mean :-)
But hey, I talk to my car, my computer, and appologize to furniture when I bump into it, so what can I say!!

I talk to myself sometimes.Haha,I usually do it when I am alone.I don't talk to myself when I am with others.I don't know why I talk to myself and sometimes I even don't recognize what I am talking.Maybe self-talking can help us reduce pressure and I think it is a good thing.

Talking to yourself is NOT schizophrenia. Schizophrenia is having lots of of different voices talking to you in your head at the same time. And when you try to discuss the outcomes of the voices, your answer is discombobulating and does not make logical sense. Please use terms correctly, especially psychological ones.
