Slim system unit casing: OK or not OK?

I'm planning to replace my system unit casing. I saw in tv that there are slim types of system unit casings. Is this ok for the motherboard's proper ventilation and operation?

hello hacker,
As far as ventilation is concerned, the more colder air that gets in and warmer air that gets out of the casing is all you needed. Now if this casing you wanted to get can do this, like any other mid-atx or full tower-atx casing, then go for it.
