ronpins hi fu, do you have any experience with linux already? well, you can start off with Mandriva. Or Ubuntu, they're quite a user-friendly distro for beginners. Try it out, its easy to install. Enjoy!

ronpins hello there, you might want to download Process Explorer, which you will know what kind of processes that are running in your system and block it if you want to. search the web for it, and give it a try, you might like it.
