Definitely mocha, I love chocolate, but sometimes, I get tired of chocolate because I eat chocolate bars always, so I'll choose mocha to have a different taste. But if you cant decide do the toss coin. I get answers there when I do it. BUt with a twist. So here goes with the twist on the toss coin.
Get a coin, decide which side is the mocha and which side is the chocolate. Toss the coin then close your eyes. Before the coin shows what side it landed to, people usually thinks of what they like between the two, because usually they think of the answer as the coin is in the air. So there, you already get the answer. IF, okay here goes the IF. This will be the second answer you get if the toss coin doesnt work. If the toss coin landed on the ground already or at your hand, and you didnt like what appears, choose the other.
I get answers through that, I hope it works on you. If both does not work, just decide the side where it landed. Remember the one on the top wins. Happy birthday too! :)

If it were me I would say chocolate but that is just becasue I love chocolate cake. When I get my kids cakes I always order a marble cake so everyone gets something they like wheter it is vanilla or chocolate.
Good luck decideing between mocha and chocolate.

Ive never had mocha cake before. Is it just like coffee cake? That is one of, if not my favourite kind of cake. I also love orange cake and carrott cake. If I was you I would go for half mocha and half coffee. You could even go for half moch and half chocolate buttercream in the middle. Spread some mocha buttercream on half of one cake layer then spread the other half with chocolate buttercream and place other cake layer on top. You could of course let the two creams merge by spreading the top of one cake layer with mocha and the bottom of the other cake layer with chocolate and then putting that on top of the mocha.
