It is a shock for us-Chinese people to hear the message that Liu Xiang exited the race. Many people express they understand the reason why he exited, but there are still a part of people who blame for his breaking the dream of golden medal. To some degree, he is more desiring for the medal than anyone, and therefore we have no right to blame him! I saw the pictures that Liu Xiang insisted in exercising before the race with great agony, we should admire him for his tough! We believe he can create glorious and new record in future! Please support him!

its a shocked for me aswel eventhough im not from china i was hoping to see him in action again he break the world record in Athens i was hoping he could break the record in his own country aswel

Yes,you're right.Liu Xiang tried his best.We should understand that he quit because of his injuries.I hope he can recover from it soon.He is always the hero even though he didn't make it to get a gold medal this time.

Achilles tendon problems are the longest to heal. Once it has been compromised, it can re-injure easily. I would hope that for Liu Xiang it is not the case. DCMerkle
