Anyone here remember Vienetta?

Hi, I work for North American Ice Cream and we are bringing back Vienetta, the product has been dead for around 4 years here in the U.S. We are doing test runs this week and start production september 1. Hope this puts a smile on someones face.

Is that the same as Vienetta we have over here? It is a block of ice cream which you cut and there is slices of chocolate in side the ice cream. I always used to have it at my Nanna's house on a Saturday. We still have it in UK but I havent had it for a long time. You can get vanilla and mint flavour.

Yes its the same ice cream block, I believe we are only going to be making the vanilla as of right now, since thats the orignal flavor. Theres alot of waste with starting up the product. Which was one of the reasons it was discontinued over here along with the high price of butter fat. Since we were recently bought out by Unilever, they are going to give it another shot.
