Going back to school each year involves all sorts of things to be prepared, and all that is done. Now I'm trying to think of what I can put in my lunch bag that isn't just about as boring as it can be. I do a lot of sandwiches using leftovers, anda lot of salads with all sorts of gourmet goodies in 'em. But I think it's time for some other things. We have a very short lunch break - about 20 minutes, so I prefer not to need the microwave if possible. Any good, low-calorie ideas?

If you have a thermos! You can bring any number of this things. Sence your trying to loose weight bring smaller potions!,
Left over pasta, stews, hamburger patties, chicken patties, Lasagna, rice pudding, any pudding, fruits, lunch meat & cheese rolled up in pits bread, salads, mixed fruit cups, applesauce, chili, hot dogs and beans, corn bread, chicken strips, stir fry, veggies and dip, Mac and cheese, chili-mac the list is endless.
100 calorie packs are very good too!
I hope this helps!

Pepperoni chips...
Depends on how much you like pepperonis but they make a good and filling snack. Take as many pepperonis as you want and lay them flat on a plate (can cover with a paper towel to absorb some grease) and microwave them for anywhere between 30 secs to a minute. It depends on whether you want them kinda chewy or crunchy like chip. Then throw them in a baggie and go!

You could try wrap versions of the sandwiches you prefer (just an example, corned beef and swiss). That can vary the menu a bit plus its not too hard to deal with when its just a quick lunch.

Thanks! That's a wonderful suggestion! In fact, I think I'll do some lettuce wraps to keep the calories minimal.

Dried fruits are pretty good. And they're like candy if they're done right, without being bad on your calorie intake.

A good thing is always celery. It is a negative calorie food and can fill you up quickly if you pair it with the correct food items. For instance, celery in soup (chicken broth preferably) with lots of vegetables is a good thing because warm water fills you up quickly. Also, you could pair the celery with peanut butter for added protein in your diet. Or you could get some low-calorie nachos and salsa with celery added into it. Good luck and I hope that some of my advice proves to be helpful to you!
