What is freedom for you?

i would just like to quote something from "GHANDI" ~ freedom is when, at night , a woman fully wearing gold ornaments, can walk alone without fear . Yes, we are leaving in a world full of fear of what is going to happen next .. i) when we are at the restaurants , the women have to hold their handbags .. they don even dare to place it on the table for fear of ... ii) when we are walking, we hold our bag tight in fear ... iii) when we park our cars, we have to ensure it is locked properly or else .. iv) lock your home before you leave .. in my home yes ... i enhjoy my freedom , i can walk around naked with no fear .. unless one day they come up with some camera in houses

Freedom for me is you can do what ever you wanted to do.Or said what you wanna said.But sometimes too much freedom can affect the respect for the people.I notice here in Sweden kids is not respect there parent not all but some of them.I understand why they do that because they always teach that they have freedom and they never teach how to respect people that is the sad of having too much freedom .

Freedom is to have choices and the will to make them. For a person to be truly free, they must have options. Yes, one can choose to barrel down the highway, breaking the speed of sound but that may not be the sensible choice. Still, there is the freedom to make that choice. It is when we don't have choices that we become captive.

freedom for me is not just doing what we want everytime but being free to do things right or doing things that we want without compromising things... freedom entails responsibility and freedom dont means nor rules or law but being free from violating it... freedom is having the mind of your own to decide for your own and be responsible foryour own actions..

Hi ya valeria1 Freedom for me is no longer being in my abusive 10 year marriage that I left two years ago now and I can do everything I want to do again. Being myself, doing what I want when I want!

No one knows what true freedom is. We only hope to wish we experience it. True freedom isn't free. Isn't it sad that as human beings that we have to pay for something called "freedom". I want to see a "free" person.

freedom to me means havin my own private space.my dear ones think they own me and that is quite irritating to me.it sometimes seems i cannot do anything without their consent.the boys have all the fun(after they are married)and nobody questions them.

For me freedom is something like INDEPENDENCE... Independence of your own decisions in life and doing things which you think is good at your stake. It is more on expressing your inner being to be able to show others who you really are... It is not just about those law thing it is more about your BEING and on how you will live it in accordance to your own life's perspective...

I agree with you too on what you wrote Just being happy and knowing there is a whole world out there is good enough for me . You can do as you dream and hope it all can come true . Here in the usa we have so much more freedom then most contries , so i feel very blessed . sure sometimes life is hard , but it is better that much out there.

For freedom, someone some where has paid a price. The soldiers that fight in the wars to keep us safe at home are paying for our freedom. But the ultimate price for our freedom was paid by Jesus, when he gave his life at the tender age of 33 in order to do the will of His Father, so that we could be truly FREE. But so many of us make the wrong choices, thinking we have true freedom.

I agree with what you have to say. Freedom is something not to take advantage of. There are many priveleges in society and we shoud obey the laws of the land as you say. We can enjoy a lot in life because of our freedom and we can certainly stay out of trouble! I believe that freedom is having the right to live where you want, practice any religion that you want and have the friends that you want.

I THINK For freedom it is not the same to the people , but to me ,i think if i cam do what i want to do and eat i want to eat ,and with no one will refuse me and so on ,i think it would be fine ,that might mean ferdom to me .but the actrue is not decided by yourself ,thera are so many things leave us .

I can shout and i can pee anywhere i want!

Freedom for me is having no worries about money. Being able to live a quiet life at my own discretion without hurrying to work and doing the daily chores.

The freedom is one of the things we needed to give tributes from our ancestors. Fighting against the invaders made the people to have freedom. In every country pays the attention of the courageous act brought out of their own heroes.
