How much you love yourself?

Thinking about ourself is not selfishness.Too much thinking abt thyself and giving priority to yourself only is selfishness.I think everyone should have self respect.

I agree with you. In order to love other people we first need to learn to love ourselves. I doubt we can be good at loving others if we don't love ourselves first. Its like teaching something that we have yet to learn, for us to be good partners we first need to know the blissful feeling of being loved and what better way than to show our affections for ourselves.

We can't love others unless we learn how to love ourself... In my experience, i have proved that I do love myself more than anything else. Call me selfish me but that's I feel towards myself. I just can't easily trust others so much so that is why I don't give my love to them 101%...

Learning to love yourself is key point in achiving happiness in life. How can you be happy if you don't like how you look, if you hate your disposition in life. It's very important, and it could build up your personality and your realionship with other people as well. But it's only good to a degree that it's not becoming narccisic ..(did I get the spelling right?) or vain. Love yourself to be able to establish your own identity that other people would love about you.

I did not use to like myself. But now i think it is very important. How can you love someone else if you can't love nor respect yourself. You are right. There is nothing selfish in loving yourself. In fact you should. It's very important. I used to be surrounded by people who always told me i was a bad person etc..it made me really feel bad..then i met some wonderful friends who taught me to love myself first, then love the others. I am selfish as hell and proud of it. I love being selfish. I was raised selfish, because I am the only child and I got what I want. So it's not like I really choosed to be this way. But hey, I'm not complaining.
