What is your opinion about traveling by train or by bus. I had been traveling a lot in the past long distance as well short distance. I prefer to travel by fast luxury train if the journey is of 5 to 7 hours. I do not like to travel long distance in the trains where nights are involved. I do not feel comfortable in the morning and one has to use wash room for easing and brushing etc. Much facilities like home are not available. I prefer to undertake such journeys by luxury busses/volvo buses where seats are flexible and semi sleep. As regards local journey I prefer to travel by my own car. For the most long journey I would prefer to travel by air as low cost Airlines are offering lot.
What about u do u like to travel by train/bus or air please discuss.

That will depends on the circumtances when I had to do the travel :), based on that I will choose which transportation that fits me the most at that time. I'm a flexible person if you ask me the matter of liking or not, I think I like them all heheheh :D

I like to travle by air when I need to get there fast. And I enjoy the country side when you can see it. But when I have the time and I have a long way to go I would prefer to go by train. You can enjoy so much of the country side, meet new people and just relax and let someone else do the driving.
I know that the restrooms aren't the best, but the ones on the busses and the airplanes are so small that you can bearly get in the door and close it without falling down. And if you are very creative you can really handle your self quit well with all the room in the restroom space on the trains. Anyway I enjoy the Train. JLMack

Dear friend,
I do like to travel in train in long journeys and short journeys I like to travel in buses and if it luxury train or bus it is very much well and good and for long travel I would either opt for a luxury train if not a luxury bus. Even the basic needs are also got in trains while travelling like food, toilet, we could sleep etc. Buses has limitation compared to trains in luxury.

I don't like to travel by bus because I don't like the smell of petroleum. The smell make me feel full in my stomach and I will be a little unhappy. And the bus is not as stable as the train. I am quite obsessive about punctuality and I will prefer the train.

I like to travel by train. Becuase I won't get a traffic jam. Beside that I can see a view of country side. If I use bus, I only see a vehicle that pass me and a row of building. Also travelling by train is cheaper than bus. I usually use train to do my long distance trip. For near distance I usually use my motorcyle. It more quick than use a car.

My family also travels alot. But in our case, theres no train in our area. So when we travel it is usually by car which my dad drives. And often times by bus. The longest travel by car we had was about 2-3 days. Well, it was exhausting but all the of it was worth it becuase of the scenic spots that we passed by. The longest bus ride i had was about 7 hours. We travelled at night so most of the time we were asleep. You just have to find that perfect position for you to be able to doze off... At least my dad can also sleep for he doesnt need to drive anymore.

After my last experience in a bus, I tend to avoid them for medium and long journeys. It was the most horrid experience that I ever had travelling. The train is a preferred option, but getting a confirmed booking for medium to long distance journeys on short notice is difficult. Then there is the time factor, thereby bringing it down to using the air option wherever available.

Hi friend, i like to travel by train. I often go to my native place once in a week. Then i always prefer train. That is very comfort. About 150km away from my current residence. Travel by bus makes me tiredness and we can take a stroll inside the train hr

I've had too many experiences that are bad with both trains and buses. I've never really been fond of traveling unless I'm the one driving. That would probably change if I had a comfortable train/bus to travel. I've never flown before either so I can't really give an opinion about that.

well i love to travel in buses only if its an AC coach
otherwise its impossible to travel long distances in normal buses!!
i do some times prefer travelling in train for
over long distances!!! the long advantage is that you could sleep flat in
a train.. where as in a bus .. it quite tedious to sleep!! now aday there are also buses that have sleeper class!!!
happy lotting!!
