Some people take precautions now a days that they just bring their credit cards than bringing their money when they go shopping but looking at it, It's a debt with interests that's added maybe as payment for the security that you won't lose money to bad guys. But there are still some that uses and brings their money to shop just to avoid having debts with these interests but it really is dangerous if someone spies you with all these money just to shop.
Are you one of those who bring money or you use credit cards?

well, it depends on what kind of things will I buy. If that is appliances or cellphones, I will probably use credit cards for it. you can get lots of benefits from buying appliances and cellphones using credit cards. you can pay appliances and cellphones in 6 or 12 months with 0% using your credit cards, and it will help you to save a lot.
If I'll just buy clothes or things on the grocery stores, I'd probably use cash for it.

I too don't have any credit cards so I rather use cash. Wait a minute I don't have cash too. Anyways if I have both, I prefer credit card for safer reasons, just don't give out your account # to anybody and it would be fine but it has interests. And know your limitations it is easy to use your credit card but it's hard to be a responsible credit card user.

Just because I don't use credit cards, that doesn't mean I don't have a bank account. I would NEVER bring a huge amount of cash with me, unless I'm blowing it all out on a shopping spree or something. And yeahh... the gangs w/e I'm don't ever step foot on shady places. If I somehow happen to have to pay 1K+, I'd use those plastic cards--which I know without will power, will take over my life.
I still prefer cash.

i always use a credit card or sometimes a debit card for shopping ,as it is easy to carry and i think it is secured than liquid cash ,so i use it although i know it has some risk.

I use my credit card for all my purchases. The reason I do is so I can manage my money
better. I know how much I spent that month and I know I have to pay it back that month'
so I keep my money to pay it. Then I know how much I am spending and can budget myself
better.
I used to pay for everything with cash but I was finding I was almost always broke so
since I started doing it this way, I can see where my money is going and I can cut
back where I need to.
It doesn't work for everybody though. My daughter tried it after she saw me doing it and
she found that at the end of the month she didn't have enough money to cover it all and
she ended up oweing more and having to pay interest on it. So she has now paid it off
and only uses cash to make her purchases.
Alrighty then, talk to you later my friend,
Have a good day, Chris

Since I don't have a credit card then I prepare cash ... Well, I agree with you.. I don't want to apply any credit card because I am afraid that I might not able to pay my debts.. Then if you don't pay your debt, it will increase it because of the interest that the bank is adding, the more it is really hard to pay it.. I have known many people who have this kind of problem.. They can't now pay all of their debts because it is getting bigger due to the interest added every month and some additional payment.. Until now, they didn't pay their debts in the bank.. I don't know what will happen to them..

I prefer using cash. When I buy the groceries, I always get the money out of the machine first, because I'm worried if I get to the counter and the card doesn't work, I'll be really embarrassed! I'm always worried I'll forget the PIN or something, or that I won't be able to see to press the buttons. All those silly machines are different, and I get a bit flustered - especially if I've forgotten my glasses!

I do both. I bring money at the same time I use my credit card. If I see something I like but it's quite expensive, I charge it to my plastic. But if my cash can pay for it, I use the cash.

It depends on what im buying. If I purchase something really expensive then I use a credit card that way I get rewards from the credit card company.
Also for things like bills and groceries I use cash and shopping for clothes I mostly use credit cards.
But since I barely buy big expensive items and I dont go shopping often my cards get barely used..that way I'm not way in debt and I can pay off the credit cards as they are used.

I prefer cash at a store. I can get into too much trouble with cards.

For me, I normally pay by card if it is accepted.
This because I can accumulate reward points... more freebies for no extra cost so why not?
Sometimes though, if the amount is small, I would just pay cash. I just feel it would be simpler and faster for all.
Cheers!

I prefer cash over card anytime!
The trick to using a card is to ensure you have that kinda money before you spend it.
So if the card has a limit of $2000, ensure you have at least $2000 on standby at all times.
Then when you use the card, pay it up as soon as possible!
This will reduce the chance of incurring interest when you forget to pay on time!
Then once the standby money is used, replace it! You can afford to take a little longer as you are using your own money. Sort of taking a loan from yourself, minus the interest.
That way, you can enjoy the benefits of the card, and still spend like you are carrying cash around!

I like using my debit card and think that every place should accept them. I hate carrying around cash and yes it could be dangerous if you don't keep track but I think it is easier then writing a check for things. Checks should be used for paying bills.

I don't use credit cards.I use cash and my debit card when shopping. With that i can control my expenses.Using credit card is dangerous of having no control of spending and end up paying large debts.
