i felt so foolish

the other day i was talkling to the person who was installing a laser jet printer at home, and the guy was doing his work as well as answering me, in between i asort of casually asked if the printer prints languages other than english, he just gave a stare and without saying a word, i felt so foolish

Asking something that we did not know about yet is not a foolish. The most foolish one is who leaves his client become uncomfortable.

lol don't sweat it, i don't know what proficency level you are with computers what not, but i have helped many people with learning computers, setting stuff up, lol and that is one of the least foolish questions i have ever heard.

It often happens that things come out of our mouths before we think about it, LOL. The classic one is where a piece of software says "Press any key to continue". I have had students ask me in all seriousness "Which is the Any key?" I can't, at the moment, recall the last foolish thing I said (memory is sometimes kind to us) but I know that I have said some very silly things in my life!
