Hillary never had a chance for VP

Contrary to what the media has been telling people, it turns out that Hillary was never given serious consideration for vice-president. The Democratic party has apparently dumped the Clintons hard. Those Hillary supporters who have been fighting for her to get a fair shake at the convention are going to be upset when they realize this. What can Hillary do?

I never had a doubt that she is a goner. She somehow managed to step on the wrong toes within the party. Somebody powerful saw to it that Obama came into play to get the votes away from her. Obama and Clinton, no matter how much smiley-smile and lovy-dovy they are right now pretend to be, really don't like each other. There is no party unity. Clinton's career will end at just the level of a New York senator.

For whatever mix of reasons, I think the democratic leadership chose Obama early on, and from that point worked against Hillary. I agree with you that the unity is not there. Just do a websearch for PUMA and you will see. It is an organized effort against Obama and it stands for Part Unity My A--.
Thanks for your comment.

Clinton could run in 2012 and still be younger than McCain is now. Who says it's over for her?
Also, I wouldn't rule out making her a Justice on the Supreme Court either, or having some other position.
I wouldn't be surprised if the party became disillusioned with her when she started campaigning like a 'Rovian' for a while in the primaries, but regardless of the reason, look at this:
"In the August 13 Pew Poll, Obama holds a 51-38 lead among women over McCain. In the August Time Magazine poll, Obama leads 49-39." --http://tpmelectioncentral.talkingpointsmemo.com/2008/08/obama_campaign_mccains_outreac.php

I knew that Hillary would not be his running mate when it came time to pick, he isn't interested in anyone that will be looking over his shoulder. I think he only picked who he did hoping that that will cover the foreign policy that he has not experience in, but don't think it will help him get elected. As for Hillary I think the country has had enough of Bill and Hillary. I know a lot of people voted for her, and I would pick her if I had to over Obama, but it wasn't the fact that she was a woman it was the fact that she wasn't going to do anything for us the working class of people, she has her money and she could care less about us. I know Obama thought she would want to run things for him and he is not wanting anyone that will give him hype in what choices he makes.

I heard something about how 1 in 5 Clinton supporters are going to vote for McCain. That seems like quite a rash decision by them. But oh well, as a McCain supporter, i'm not going to complain!
