Hmmm PayPal is now connected to many many banks in the Philippines. I will give you a link showing the allowed Philippine Banks in PayPal. Here it is: www.pinoymoneytalk.com/2008/01/27/bank-code-philippines-withdraw-paypal/
Happy mylotting!

well, i changed my mind about BDO. heard too many not-so-good feedbacks about it. i highly suggest you apply for an EON card at Union Bank (that's what I'm gonna be doing on Tuesday). It's the only bank in the Philippines that has a Cyber Account, an account dedicated for those who work online and/or receive their payments through paypal.
NO initial deposit
NO maintaining balance
pay only P350 annual fee (that's it. no OTHER fees)
AND why the heck am i saying this here. go online so we can chat. in TAGALOG. :p

BPI card is an international card, you can use it for paypal. just get the bank code to link it to your paypal account. i have posted a similar discussion here before telling everyone that all local banks in the Philippines can now be used to transfer money from Paypal.

Like what I said to kayedanda *point up* BDO is not a favorable bank to use for paypal verification. Just last week, I tried to use my Banco de Oro ATM Debit Master Card and lost around Php 200+ due to Paypal taking $1 per query (they refund once the bank replies to them, but since the bank denied my account, those pesos are lost). BDO Customer Service representatives have warned me from using their card for paypal usage at the moment due to BDO not currently having a relationship with Paypal. While talks are currently on-going (I've been told), as of now, BDO is not a usable card for Paypal.
Seconding a lot of people in mylot, I would like to recommend Union Bank's EON. I personally have no experience with it yet, but I've heard nothing but good reviews for it.
