How to find the best web hosting

I think it would be the speed and the up time... Happy mylotting everyone!... ;-) We triumph without glory, when we conquer without danger...

Well, I've had bad experiences with slow webhosts before, and waiting for my website to load was excruciatingly long, so I'd say speed is top on my list. Then comes all the other features like sqldbs, php, and such. Any good host has to have most of these. I've never tried them before, but I've heard lunarpages is quite good.

There are quite a lot of criteria in choosing a web hosting service. First and foremost is it's reliability. What is the percentage of it being up all the time. Most web hosting companies offer 99.99% uptime for the site. That is my priority. Next would be the storage amount and its price. It should be the lower price for more space. My third criteria would be feedback and reputation. I would check for feedback around the net which one offers better solutions depending on what my website needs. I usually get services where lots of people give fairly positive feedback. Next would be the ease of use. I can always adjust on how things work but it's much better if the web hosting tools are easy to use such as file management and email. Next would be features. I'd like my host to provide support for asp, cgi, php and such. Those are my top considerations. There may be more though but the bottomline would still be lower price for better service as much as possible.
