likaes I think they have to come up with a new face because as you've clearly pointed out, there's no way they can force any of the old candidates on the country any longer. They just won't stand for it, as the current election has clearly shown.

likaes Who wants to live forever? Living on for eternity, seeing the same old people you associate yourself with. Doing the same old thing you did last millennium. It's bound to get boring some time. For that, I'm glad and reassured that I will die some day....

likaes As I said, you could go for the programme where they allow ordinary people to fly in a weightless environment, inside an aeroplane flying above the Earth. So you can still realise your dream, somewhat.

likaes I think there was a programme where they flew people in an aeroplane in a near-gravity free place, just above the Earth's atmosphere. So you can experience being weightless.

likaes Yeah, it is a once in a lifetime chance to get out into space. It looks like space travel won't be commonplace in our lifetimes, and we'll only get to hear about it on the news.
