I have, last week, and I think it must be in school because I can't find it anywhere. I really hope it's safe. I'm going to be in so much trouble if I can't find it! I miss being able to take a picture whenever I want to. I feel so empty without it. I don't really use it to talk to people much, but when I do need it, I don't have the phone number in my head so I'm disconnected from the world!

Oh so sorry to hear that! I know how it feels to lose a cellphone because I lost mine for two times to a thief. I never learned my lesson. I just put my cellphone on top of my desk in the office, then a newspaper vendor came in and left. After a few minutes, I searched for my cellphone and could not find anymore. Obviously it was that vendor who took the phone. I even called and he had the guts to even answer my call. The second time I lost was also in the office, I was sitting in front of my computer and again I just left my mobile on top of my desk. I was alone in my room and could hardly believe somebody was able to sneak it to get my mobile. I dialed my number with the hope that it was just misplaced somewhere in the office but to my dismay, the thief was the one who answered and he together with another man and a woman were even laughing. You could imagine how I really flared but what can I do. Now I have learned the good lesson. Never leave the cellphone unattended. Now my cellphone is always inside my bag and my bag is always kept inside a locked cabinet. The problem is my hubby is always mad because I never answer at once his texts. Why because I can't hear the message alert! Ha!ha!ha!

Not me personally, but my brother's lost his cellphones a lot. . .lol. I don't know what I would do without my phone. . .its how I contact people when I don't have a computer or laptop in front of me. I'm way too lazy to write down their contact info on an address book because I think I won't really need it and I'm more likely to lose or misplace the address book more than my phone haha xD. I really wish I had unlimited texting though because not being able to text people a lot sucks. ): Talking on the phone too much makes my voice sore really easily even though I don't really TALK to people on the phone that much. It's way easier and more convenient to text people especially if you really have something important to tell someone and they are like in class and it can't wait. Verizon charges too much for text and I can't wait till the contract ends. ;_;

I've lost one once, and I dropped one in the Arkansas River while I was whitewater rafting.

Gosh no.I have never lost it ever.I can ill afford to lose a cellphone.Not only because of the cost factor but because of the immense trouble I will have to go through it.In a country where cell phones are widely used by terrorists you cannot afford to lose a cellphone,needless say if it reaches the wrong hands.You know in all the recent terror strikes which took place across the country terrorists used sim card as triggering device to detonate the bombs.Further the police got the leads to the suspected terrorists from the mobile phone calls.So if my phone is lost and reaches a terrorist and if he uses it then I will be in a nice fix.Here if one loses a mobile phone he should immediately inform the service provider and all the outging calls should be blocked.Then a complaint is to be lodged with the local police station.If these two conditions are fulfilled then you can insulate yourselves to a certain extent in case any untoward incident happens,eventhough it may land you in some initial troubles.

I did, but not directly. My son's friend then, (and now like my own son) who is famous for loosing cellphones lost it for me. Not intentionally though. He was actually helping me at the gamedrome when we just started off. He just left it on the table, and in about five minutes time, it went missing. Somebody had taken it and gone away.

Yeah I know what you mean. All of my phone contacts are kept in my phone's memory, so if I lose it I won't know how to call anyone either! All that information gone...
I know now to properly keep backups of all my contacts on my computer so I won't lose my contacts if I lose my phone.

I have a time that leave my cellphone in the classroom for a whole night, but luckily, I found it the next day. I think maybe my phone is out of fashion so that no one like it, and no one take it.
To me, cellphone is important, it can help me keep in otuch with my friends. Losing it may bring a lot of problems.

Hi Sheepie,
I have never lost my cell phone yet, but I don't go out that often and when I do I have in my handbag and only use to ring for my husband to pick up from where ever I am or to ring for a taxi, most of the time I leave my phone on the table at home.

I've actually never lost my cell phone. But this summer one time I had my cell phone in the pocket of my bathing suit and forgot about it. Then i jumped in the pool with it. I was so angry! It took 3 days for the phone to come back on (fortunately it came on at all). It's never been the same though. It shorts out a lot now and does quirky things. Frustrating cause I just got this phone in march and It's one of the more expensive ones when I went to the store.
