preferably long hair or short hair?

Surely I'd choose long hair, and I'll explain why. In first place, long hairs gives me the impression that the girl really care about herself, because, to keep a long hair, you need more cares than to keep a short hair. In second place, I'd say that, because of the first reason I quoted, long hairs are (almost) always soft and perfumed, which really captivates me. And then, in third place, I just think that the balancing of the hair looks so nice for me.. Oh gosh, long hair is so damn beautiful! *__*

I'm a girl and I have medium-length hair. I am trying to grow it longer though. I've had medium to long hair for most of my life, but I have experimented. Once I cut it shoulder-length and I think I looked alright, and another time I totally hacked it off super short. I looked terrible. I hate having to deal with my hair so I wish I looked good with short hair, but I just don't. I have a really round face. I think that some girls look good with long and others look good with short, so I think it's dumb to try and say that one way is more beautiful. I think that guys mostly like girls with long hair simply because of gender roles. Girls are "supposed" to have long hair. According to society, long hair is more feminine. It's just the style. In my parent's generation, it was very common for men to have long hair, it was considered sexy and now days it's mostly considered a turn-off or a sign of homosexuality. When I was a young teen I could sit on my hair. Since then I have had all different lengths. At my age I think I look better in shorter hair. The long hair seems to emphasize my sagging cheeks, so long hair looks better pulled back on me. I had a very short cut last summer (08), but I am letting my hair grow now. I want to donate my hair to an organization that makes wigs for people undergoing cancer treatments, but I haven't decided which one yet. So, I guess I'm growing mine long just so I can cut it off.

Oh when i was a kid my mum wanted me to have short hair and i cried to keep it long (like my friends). When i was in college my hair was waist length and i cried get it cut (ears level). From then it was always very short (sometimes almost crew cut)..my mum hated it coz it was too short for a girl... When i met Michel (mu husband), i had crew-cut short hair. Once he told me he loved long hair, so i kept it...now when i want to cut it he feels sad, so i keep it growing...but do trim it from time to time...but nothing like i used to (crew-cut)... I know he loves my hair coz i have the luck of having silky like hair...straight and easy to comb...he loves caressing my hair and playing with it (he's got curly hair...) so i guess that's why he likes mine long...actually i don't mind coz am sure if i really want to have them cut short, he'll say ok :)

me, my hair isn't that long but isn't that short either my hair is right above my shoulders, its wavy and its gorgeous. long or short I'd go for any cut that makes me look great. even if that means going bald. If i look good bald then so be it. Cause to me personal preference doesn't matter when it comes to looking your best if you wanna look good there might be things that you would not like (eg: exercise and diet) but if you feel and look better than its worth it.

well talking about the hair.... according to my thinking mostly girls are preferred with long hair as this adds a new dimension to their beauty while on the other hand boys are looking god in short hair style but now a days even boys have long hair style example-rafeal nadal

I like my own hair long because I can do more with it. I don't really have an opinion about other people's hair. Some people look better with short hair than with long, but it really is about personal preference. Even though I like my own hair long, I am wearing it short right now. I swim a lot in the summer and I like to wear it short and trim it often just to keep it healthy looking.

Well, I dunno why guys love galz with long hair. Maybe they like the taste of head lice? Right now, I am growing my hair, not out of love for long hair or something. Long hair is easier to manage than short hair. You just style it and leave it alone and it behaves itself for the rest of the day. i need a change with my hair. i dont like the same hairstyle all the time. usually during the summertime, i cut my hair very short. right now, i have the pixie cut, similar to rihanna and katie holmes haircut. in fall and winter, i usually like my hair into a bob cut. prior to this pixie hair, my hair looked like victoria beckham's bob. and during the spring, i usually let my hair grow out until summer. so, i guess i prefer my hair from short to medium. i havent had really long hair since i was in elementary school. i guess most young girls like to keep their hair very long.

I love my hair to be short so that I would waste so much time combing it.

i myself prefer short hair, but i have long hair. short, because it is easy to wear, just take a bath, comb it, then done! but when you have long hair, you'll problem on how you get your hair dry without those flyaways. well, just my opinion. because eversince, i have long hair.

The Bible said that girls should have long hair and the guys have short hair. If God said the girls have long hair, it is a natural instinct that boys love girls who have long hair.

Hi cottonm, I personally would like a girl with a hairstyle that is neither too long,nor too short, kind of intermediate. However girls prefer short hair as it is comfortable for them, but I like intermediate hair in a girl, as it can be managed, as well as looks very nice. Very long hair is difficult to manage by the girls, due to which they spend most of their time managing it therefore I don't like girls with very long hair, as well as it looks awkward to have hair that is hanging down till your legs. Anyways, it is your hair, and it is your choice. But it is the best opinion to have a kind of intermediate length hair than really long hair. Good Day or Evening depending on your time zone.

Hmm.. me too I prefer long hair because girl will look nicer if they are in long hair. Its shows your feminine. I will take care my long hair because my mom said I look pretty with my long hair.. LOL!! I ever wonder, if I cut my hair, how will I look because I saw some women with short hair look goods.. Mmm.. I think girl with short also look nicer..

Hello cottonm,This is a interesting question.I think many people have different choices.For me, i like the girl who has a long hair.It looks like a perfect kind of art.Od course, i always cut a short hair for myself.meanwhile, i hate the men who leave the long hair. I feel it is ugly even though some people think not.lol good luck

i guess it depends on your definition of long hair, hair that goes down to your waist i don't really like, i would say anywhere from shoulder length to mid back at the longest

i'd prefer to have my hair short. being a mother of two kids, i find it more convenient and manageable to have my hair short because it will not take much of time fixing it. i usually start my day with my head band on since i have to prepare my kids food to school.

i think it depends on how the guy looks with long or short hair. personally it doesnt really matter to me as much as it use to. my bf wears his hair both long and short.
