i've read 'the da vinci code' before, quite some time back though. it was way before the movie was made. i am very lucky to have read angels and demons first though. it was the prequel to the DC code. i find that the A&D is very well written and the plot was excellent. however, when i got to the DC code, it seems a little repetitive. overall, it's not a bad book especially if you have not read A&D. enjoy the book, cheers ;p

I found it very seductive when I read it. But it turns out most of the stuff is nonsense. Good story, though, if you leave it as fiction.

Wonderful action Novel! Don't take it seriously. It is a novel based on some truths, but the author has interpreted it in his own way. He doesn't claim it's a factual account of anything.
Enjoy!

I have read it and enjoyed it as a story. As long as you remember it's a work of fiction and take no notice of the stuff you've read in the press then it's a well written book which keeps you in suspense. It's not one of the best books I've read and I think all the fuss about it made it seem better than it actually was. Read and enjoy then try some of the authors other books.

i read the book and i enjoyed it very much. some people said that reading the book made them to question their faith. they seem to forget that it was just fiction. it never affected me in anyway. if you like this kind of books i would also recommend " the omega scroll" by adriaan d'hage. i've read it and i liked it very much. happy reading! =)

I cannot comment on the book itself because I have not read it. I cheated and watched the movie. If it is anything like the movie it should be great. I really liked the movie. I hope you enjoy the book.

It really is a very great book. I've read the book myself and I really loved it! Though I think it's not that appropriate for children, I think many of the wee tykes are already reading this wonderful book. And though I'm a Catholic, I still have a liking in this book, despite it being anti-religion kinda thing...

I really enjoyed the book. It's a whole lot better than the movie was. It goes into depth about a lot of the imagery and such that the movie skipped or just barely touched. After reading the book you think, Uhm, could this be in the realm of possibility. Probably not, but it makes you think about it. It's a good book.

Yes, I have read the book, two years ago. Though there were words I didn't understand and I had no idea about religion, I couldn't stop reading it. From this book I came to know what best sellers mean. It will keep you reading on and on, no matter you rebieve it or not. It is a well-written book and interesting one for me. It is worth reading.

I had such a hard time putting this book down! I hope you enjoy it as much as I did. I read it quite some time ago but will always remember it as one of my favorites. As for the controversy, it is a work of fiction. If you are offended by it, don't read it. But just remember that it is a story & a very good one at that.

I have read other Dan Brown books but not that one, because I saw the movie first. Once I see the movie, I don't normally read the book, as I already know the story, even if they cut out half the story in the movie. I enjoyed the movie but friends who read the book said it's better than the movie.
I like his books, a lot.

I've never personally read the book, but I've heard excellent things about it from friends. When the movie came out my friends who have read it said the book is so much better and that the movie messed things up. Are you enjoying it so far? Hope its a good read for you =)
