KC and RICHARD movie-over promotion much!

Yeah. They're overselling. Although they're just trying to promote as much as they can, I think it does more harm than good. People are sick of watching the commercials again and again that I'm doubting if they'd still want to watch the movie. Anyway, tomorrow will be the premiere so after a week or two, this will be over.

I really do not understand what the big bruhahaha is all about... it is just another love story movie... but i guess the main reason behind that is that Star Cinema wants this to be a big hit... so that when GMA7 gets their movie... it would be a tough act to follow... I really don't care because i don't intend to watch any of their movies...

Well, I'm not a big fan of Philippine movies. I've tried to watch Film Fest entries with hopes of finding good movies before but to no avail so I've given up. Now we have a love story that has the same chemistry and set-up as any other Tagalog movie. We have lots of talented writers and directors, why can't we create quality films? It's just sad..

yeah.. i definitely agree with you..hahaha well, i used to like KC, but i dont know, with seeing her almost everytime on TV, makes me like her less, i mean, i dont know. she loses her "mysterious" "private" image she used to have. well, i still hope their movie will sell though, i have no hard feeling against them anyway! LOL!

I agree with you! But like what I thought yesterday after what my dad told about the conflict with the promotion at Araneta if I am not mistaken. "KC is the MEGA STAR's daughter, what do you expect?!". She's the daughter! LOL. But yeah, I think that is one of the reasons it's highly publicized. No offense to Sharonians and to KC's fans.

Well it's a first team-up of a kapuso and kapamilya stars.No doubt it wil be having a over promotion.

I dont like KC Concepcion. She's always over-acting. Especially when she's with Richard.

KC-Richard love team is not as attractive for me. I like KC as a commercial model. I hope she just concentrates on her modeling career because she's great at that. Well, they're both Filipino artists and if ever their movie will become successful, then a lot of Filipino fans will be happy. Good evening.

indeed it is. also, i don't find their movie worth watching. i mean, richard's acting is way too "hilaw" and KC still needs to prove herself. yes, she's the daughter of mega but that does not mean that she's talented and stuff.

I agree and it has really become annoying.I think that they had already promoted their movie enough and really I don't see anything special if they appear together on each and every show of both networks. How I wish that this two networks, instead of building up too much publicity should just build up quality programs and films that we could benefit from.

I am no fan of KC or Richard and I won't be definitely watching it in the cinema even if you gave me premiere tickets. But that's just me. I've had enough of their faces on tv and the song is starting to sound irritating in my head. Well, the stations have definitely built up a hype about the movie and now I'm wondering how big of a hit it will be OR will it be a hit?

I'm with you. I mean, the love team is not that good and all, but they over-promote it. Well I think it's the influence of the GMA side heehee. Everything they have is over-promoted, and I think the film is influenced by that because of Richard. Heehee. Kapamilya here. Heehee. It pissed me off that their making a big deal over it. Maybe one of the reasons is that they really wanted Richard to come over to channel 2. Anyways it's just me. I'm with you with the piss off. Heehee.

I have been away from the country for six months and missed TV, ABS CBN, GMA, etc...Please, jaded22, can you recommend me where i can view a trailer of this? I am curious. As to the rest of the comments, well i should say that, that is what COmmercial Movies are all about. They intend to make us sick of too much promotions. :) It's all about the money, eh? Or for the stars who already have too much money, it's all about the fame...and more fame. It's showbusiness, you know :)

KC and Richard came from to rival station ,they experimenting kapuso and kapamilya stars can be together for the first time. I think there is something to do with the ratings which star will shine most and their repective station is just doing everything support them .

Well I think since the two main actor and actress came from families in the showbiz ou would expect that it will have an enormous promotions plus the fact that this is the first movie that there is a partnership between the two rival station ABS and GMA what would you expect to see of course they are to promote this heavily to promote their artist at the same time.

Before I was a big KC fan, when she was still out of the country and still studying in Europe. I even bought a copy of Marie Claire Philippines when she was on the cover. I really find her very beautiful but when she returned here in the country to pursue her show business career, I was turned off by her Over Acting way of dealing things and I'm getting tired of seeing her face in the television. As for Richard, I never like him, I don't find him a good actor... Their film according to the trailer I saw, hmm.. i wouldn't watch it! They lack the chemistry I'm looking for and I'm tired looking at their faces...

for me its just not that they are over promoted there show cause most of my time aren't in TV so many you saw them promoting cause you love to watch TV. Anyway it just okay for them to promote there first ever film together..

I really don't like KC. She doesn't posses that good acting skills. In my opinion, she became famous because of her mom. I guess both stations are overwhelmed because of the tandem. haha.

Maybe It is. But I agree with the other ones answer that maybe because of the partnership of the rival stations.
