i don't anymore, but i remember doing that when i was younger. brings back memories of school uniforms, limited daily allowance and crowded cafeterias. hehe.

Hi, sendoh. Yes, most of the time, i chew on my straw. I also don't know the reason for doing this, seems like i do this unconsciously. It's not weird. I believe there are many people doing this in the world. So, you are not the only one.

HAHA I do this all the time and most of the time i dont even realize im going it, my cup can never be mixed up with someone elses that is the brite side i guess

Yep, me too, guilty as charged. It's like 2nd nature now. Everytime I drink something that involves a straw I always end up chewing it.

Well most of the time, no. But I use two straws when i drink. haha.. I bite straws, not chew. I bite it when I am waiting and there are no more ice left on my glass. i eat ice, so when I wait, I just bite the straw.

I do the same thing too. Its just a habit that is hard to break.
