Do u remember your former classmates?

My album of childhood photographs often reminds me of the past happiness. Lol, I was very very happy! However, I lost some memory.
Today, I open my album again. There is an old picure of my classmates in elementary school. U know what, I hardly remember their names. I doublt some of them were my former classmates.
It was but last year, I ran across a "stranger" on the street. He greeted me with a nod of the head.
" Hey, do u remember me? I was your elementary school classmate" He said,
"Yeah, of course" I answered.
I just wanted to be polite. In fact, I was confused.
Even now, I can't remember who he is.
It is a shame!

Do u still really miss someone who u haven't heard for years?
Do u have someone special in your heart?
Whereas u lost tough with someone.

sadly i do , lol now dont get me wrong i know seeing people your friends from your past is good and never forget where you come from , but i dont want to see these guys everyday , ...now we have a local Wal-Mart ( who doesnt ?LOL )and whenever i go in there, i swear there someone always there that i know ..like jeezz DO U HAVE A LIFE BESIDE IN THIS STATE ?!! like i always tell myself id rather move away for 30 years and come back ...not stay put and settle for less

i don't know. and i got a very bad memory, i can;t remember most of my formal classmates except few closed friends. and the people are changed a lot. i don;t know what had happened all around.
i donot know how to say? i just feel uneasy. not for this topic but for the diffrent relationships .

Im afraid that my memory is really bad, especially with names. Most of the time, I feel bad when someone approached me or emailed me or send me a text message that I hardly remember them and yet they recognized me and even remember some things about me... because of this, I have a fear in going to alumnis and get together.

ofcourse i would but if they were close to me.. otherwise its very difficult for me to remember them!!! sometimes i would go to the extent of forgetting the persons face totally!!!! it will be as if i have heard the some where but cannot recollect on how he or she looks!!!! it will really be embarrassing if some one like your friend pops out infront of me!!!!! hahahah

most of my classmates live in different places,we have little chance to meet .i am sorry to say calssmates of primary school and middle school,i almost lose information with them.even college classmates,maybe we are all busy for the living,we also contact little.today when i see this topic,my heart was beaten suddenly,only today can i realize that i have lost so much friendship,pity!

I do remember my former classmates but perhaps it's not that long ago for me as I am 22 at this time. Still, some names are harder to remember for me then others.
I guess this is because some of the kids you hardly ever talked and played with get out of your memory faster because you have less information to cling on to.
I had a best friend in elementary school and she moved away when we were about 10 years old. I never saw her again afterwards and about a week ago she found me on an online profile site and we got in contact. Even though we haven't seen each other in years we were having fun again just like in the old days. I am very happy we are in contact again.

too bad, I don't have the albums with my former classmates. especially way back elementary.
I can't remember them all. sometimes I can't remember their names, but can remember their faces. and whenever we bump into each other.. I will just tell them "hey!classmate!".. then I will ask again his/her name.

I have a really good memory for stuff like that. I actually just recently saw a guy that I haven't seen in 20 years(I'm only 26 now, so we were in Kindergarten/1st grade that last time we spoke). I recognized him, but didn't make it a point for him to remember me. I realize not everyone has memory like I do, so I try not to put them on the spot to remember be.

I've lost more than a little memory. That is partly due to age and partly due to MS. I hardly remember anyone at all from grammar school. That may be due to the fact that we moved the middle of my 7th grade, and I never saw any of those kids again. I went to school with the same bunch from 8th through 12th grade and don't even remember all those who were in our small class. It has been 56 years since I graduated from high school. We've all changed, so maybe it isn't all age or disease that has affected my memory.
Yes, I miss one particular person from my school years. She was a teacher and class sponsor. I didn't keep in touch with her, and now she is deceased.

Hi There,
Yes, absolutely is still remember my old classmates way back in gradeschool, highschool and college. It feels good to reminisce those good old days especially my gradeschool classmates. I can still recall how we as kids play those street games, happily running around in the vast playground. It seems as if endless joy that a childhood experience can bring.
Until now, we still manage to see each other. Organise some reunions and special gatherings. :)

Yes I do but of course I really don't talk that much to classmates who really weren't close to me back then. I just say hi and how are you to them and maybe a minute or two after I would say goodbye. I still have some class photos too but of course the past is past and of course I'm happy with the present.

I can remember one of my elementary school classmates clearly.when i was very young,we live together and do everything together.we share our feeling with each other no matter good or bad,but when i was 12,she left for another city and i never seen her,i miss her very much

Actually I miss my former classmates ,but I have forgotten the appearance many friends whom I have lost connection with ,but I believe that we must be happy when we meet together,even though we have lost connection for long time,maybe they have forgotten my name and appearance,I hope we can meet together again.

Yes, I remember many of my old class mates. Many were passed away from this beautiful world.Some times I will think of that golden days. I remember many events.I forgot many of my friends also.Now I am at the age of 62.

I still could remember some and even their faces but some even names I don't know, good thing about social networking is that you are again can connect to these people. here in the country friendster is widely used and i was able to locate elementary friends through it and it's just amazing how some of my college friends were connected to my elementary friends and vice versa

I don't rember all but i remember some of them..my very close friends in my school days..actually after a long back i got most of my friends in orkut i felt really very happy..but i couldn't get my friends in SMB matriculation in dindigul..i couldn't meet even one of them.actually i studied only one year there in 1998-1999 my 8th std.. so if there are any one in mylot who did their 8th in the same year same school i would really feel happy..

I don't actually remember everyone. But I will feel ashamed when they remember me and I don't. I will remember their faces actually but will forget their names. I have also faced the same incident that you faced. I remembered that she was my class mate. But couldn't remember her name. Till now I don't remember. But I managed in front of her. Hehe.

It's quite saddening at times when I look back, that you lose friends whom you once were so close to, and now are like strangers again, just like the first day you met.
