What time zone do you live in? If you're on my friend list I hope to hear from you. I'm on PST and it's 5:23 as I'm posting this. AM! As in sometimes I get up too early. I'm not sure why this discussion bombed 2 years ago, 1 year ago, or 9 months ago when it was asked in a different way, but help me out here, I'd really like to know (so I know when you're more likely to be around). Thanks!
The oddest thing about most forums for me that unless they are local and ALL the users are from my state or something, I tend to be one of the only ones in PST. I wonder why, maybe this will answer that or simply prove the theory again - that everybody else is outside instead of on the computer!

I don't really know what time zone I'm in. geography has never been my strongest subject. I live in the Philippines though and it's now 3:30pm. I'm never up at 5 in the morning I usually wake up around 10 and immediately go online. :) I rarely see anyone around myLot as well when I'm here. I think many of the users post when I'm asleep. I don't really know and it's not a big deal as long as someone replies later on. :)

I'm in the mountain time zone. When we travel to other time zones we always flip our cell phones open to see it change to the current time zone. I think I said time zone 3 times, oops, 4. :)

It does, we're all dependent on satellites to tell us what time it is.

I know what you mean about people being here at different hours. It happens in all forums, and specially one like this one where there's people from all over the world.
I am on EST. It's 9:37 pm as I write this. It's actually getting cooler finally since the day was kind of humid and not very comfortable.
Anyway, now I know that we have about 3 hours difference between the two of us, I'll keep that in mind :)

I live on the East Coast (US) and it is 10:31PM Standard Eastern Time and I have run into a few people in my time zone, most in Pennsylvania--I live in a tri state area where its very quick to cross the state line and take a nice day trip to three different states, its perfect.

I have lived the majority of my life in PST. I did have a short time in Germany as well as a bit of time in WI, IL, KS, and MO (Missouri?) but I was so young I don't remember. The bulk of my time has been in WA and CA, the great northwest or the great southwest lol.

I'm on east coast EDT usually 3 hours ahead (-5 gmt)of Pacific Time unless you don't participate in Daylight Savings Time. I'm usually up between 4 & 7 am my time 1-4 your time. A lot of nights I'm asleep by 9:00. A few nights still up at midnight. I seldom sleep past 7:30am. I'm sure that this is a little more than you wanted to know...sorry!!!

When I have insomnia I'm up too late and then I can't get up when I want to, which is usually when my husband leaves for work - about 5. That's why I'm on in the mornings here, that's my time because daughter is asleep, son heads to school, and hubby is at work. I get on other times of day if I'm home but the only guarantee is the morning. I'm not a REAL morning person, it's not like I'm cheerful or even feel better in the AM, I have evolved to be because otherwise I can't sit on the computer for a couple hours uninterrupted lol.

If you get up at 5 am your time, that should be 8 my time. I seldom sleep past 8.

Well I have no idea about why no one has responded to this discussion but I'm on the east coast so guess that would be Eastern standard time. Right now it is 8:10 am and i have been on the internet since 6:30 am. Hope this is something of what you want.

Computers operate under the 'garbage in, garbage out' system. You can't throw in garbage and expect the computer to sort it out LOL! I did a search for similar discussions before I posted this one, and was surprised to see only about 4 of them, and they were from 4 months to 2 years old and all with fewer than 15 total posts, I think even less than 10. I was just stumped as to why, glad to see this one attracted answers!

Being in India, I am following the Indian Standard Time or the IST so it’s a completely different date altogether. I think the difference is usually of 12 hrs or so…therefore if I am at my computer at 10am on 27.08.08, you are likely to be having time of 10pm on 26.08.08…weird and confusing, isn’t it?

Right as I type this, it is 2:56 PM EST. I think it's interesting to see who is from where; there are some people on myLot from very random countries!

OK Mommyboo! I don't want to mess up your experimental theory!
I'm sorry but I'm in EST and it's now 11:48PM. I just started
to sit down and read my emails from this morning and of
course I read them from the earliest and yours was one of
those. I didn't sign off until about 4:00am EST! So you see
there's always a chance you will find me online in the
evening when you're online since I stay up until the early
am hours est and I'm 3 hours ahead of you so we can meet
up then! So there's no problem! When it's 9:01pm for you,
it's 12:01am for me and I'm here! You see how nicely that
works out! Let me know how this experimental theory turns
out since you are one of my favorite discussion posters!

Our time zone here in the Philippines is GMT +8. Currently it's 8:50 in the morning. I'm here doing at the front of my computer since I have many online businesses here, nah just kidding. Well, most of the people here in the Philippines are very computer literate, basically. So does it make sense at all?

I've noticed a lot of users from the Philippines and also India, as well as different parts of Europe and the ever present US crowd. I still think there are more CST and EST than PST, I don't think I've come across someone in my time zone yet!

If I tell you what the time would have been when you posted your discussion that might make it easier to work from. So, when it was 5.23 for you it was 1.30 pm here. Right now as I post this it is NOW 1.51pm!

I live in GMT+8 well I find it weird too when I see discussions that are tagged as 1 year ago even though I know that person has just joined within the month or so. Luckily my discussions are all up to date.

I am in Texas. We are in the Central time zone, well, except for ElPaso. My computer shows that you posted this 2 hours ago, so it would have been 8:23a.m here. It is now a little after 10a.m

Yep, the only place in the state that is not in the same time zone. They are one hour behind the rest of Texas. Eastern, I think? I don't remember, I get turned around and confused just backing out of my drive way some days!*L*

Thank you I think that's about 3:30 in terms of what I'd call it, I use a 12 hour clock and not 24. Of course I don't know if you posted right after I started the discussion or not, I'll take a look at a timezone map so I can figure out where everybody is.
