Can't Understand It...

i also feel very upset and my heart breaks whenever i hear or see animals being abused... it is very cruel and heartless... they are also God's creations and living things and they deserve to live as much as we are... i wish people can be more tolerant and treat animals better... take care and have a nice day...

I'm bothered by animal abuse too, twoey. I love animals. I can't stand to see one in pain. I use to watch the Animal Cop shows and I couldn't stand seeing how some people treat their pets. Someone who does those things must be completely heartless.

I wouldn't be able to help yelling at them if I were you. I mean small animals getting hit really is not a great view because they are so small you can actually see the inside of their stomach. Bigger animals may not look that bad they may damage the car but still when the body is dried out it leaves a haunting look and it's just not funny. News about abuse and crimes to humans and animals drive me nuts, if I had money and power these types of people would regret they were born into this world at all. yes I pray to the universe that something will happen to them and my prayers are always answered, some take longer but some don't Animals are living beings too, anyone who can abuse animals you won't be surprised they are abusive to babies, sick seniors or anyone in weaker or smaller physical conditions than theirs.

I totally agree with you. Some people are heartless when it comes to animals. There are so many times here lately that I have to either change the channel on TV or mute it during our local news. There is a neighborhood in town that is having mutulated cats thrown in their yards. Whoever is doing this is so sick. I hate seeing animals on the side of the road too. My daughter is the same way, she is so bad she can't even watch Animal Rescue even knowing the animals turn out to be well and or helped out of a situation.

Hi twoey, it is nice to read someone as kind as you. my husband and i are the same way, exactly like you do - i guess that is one of the million reason why i love him this much. it always breaks my heart to see a remain in the road and it breaks my heart to hear, read, see a story that pertains to bad treatment not only bout animals but as well as human and environment. i remember when i first saw the commercial of sarah maclachlan bout the animals for adoption and support and i cried coz i am wishing i can do something about it. our dog came from a puppy mills, i wish i can have all the puppy out there but i can only save one. we have a turtle that we save from the lake he is almost not moving then but now he is big and often makes sounds when i pick him up, it makes me happy knowing that he can recognize me. my mom often thinks i am silly for showing so much love for animals. since i was a kid, i have always try to help them, feed them and give them some loving if i can. i remember having a few birds that i save and when they left my home they often brings me fruits and vegetables in our window, my grandma says it is their way of saying thanks. i am working for something that i hope when it works i could be able to have this non profit organization for animals and old people. i am excited about it and such thoughts helps me want this project work more. anyway, keep up your great heart. we all need one. takecare

Oh yes twoey68, it does make me mad to hear of animal abuse. And it seems that it is on the news all the time. I really don't know how in the world anyone could be cruel to animals. I can't figure out what kind of thrill they get from this. It is really so heartbreaking. And the poor animals are so helpless. They can't do anything to protect themselves or even tell anyone. That makes it even sadder. Makes my heart hurt. Nana

I can't stand animal abusers either. I have 2 dogs and two cats and have rescued a fair amount of stray kittens and found them homes also. I can't stand it when people dump off unwanted litters of kittens and it happens here way too often. so the ones we can catch we take and find loving homes for.

I just dont understand it they take them to have a pet and then abuse thats just not right. Now I cant cry over every carcas I see on the road for when traveling I see dogs cats rabbits Deer killed and on side the road if you are driving in the dark and they jump in front of you no way to miss them. but it does hurt to see them laying there.

I Loooooooove animals. I have 2 dogs and a cat of my own and i would become infuriated if anyone ever hurt them. I think that some people are just cruel and even get off on hurting something smaller than them, because they have no power over anything else.It's sickening really.

I think you should ask him what if that were his son - or their pet (if they have one). How would they like to go days with not enough food or to eat garbage (maybe even give them an example of the food.)

I can't stand to see an animal in pain. Unfortunately, I'm getting even more sensitive to their pain as time goes on. I'm not sure what it takes to be the kind of person who doesn't care at all. All I know is, at this point in time, I can't even watch the commercials about abused pets or the ones about circus animals and trained bears .... oh my gosh those ones get to me so bad. Just seeing those strong animals tethered with a steel ring through their nostrils - intense pain controls them - otherwise there would be no shows. I don't know .... I think I'm probably hyper-sensitive.

I agree some people really have no compassion for animals. People who are like that gives me the impression that they don't treat people well too. Correct me if I'm wrong but if people couldn't treat properly animals how more could they treat people? I just hope that the animal abuse stops because they also have the right to live here. They really don't do anything bad to us so I think we better let them be who they are and of course we could always live with them peacefully and happily.

actually in country like India even humans face the problem faced by those pets.so think how the pets will be treated.there is absolute indifference shown when it comes to pet care....

Yes it does. I get many email from various animal protection site and I cannot even open them if I think it will show something that upsets me.

I can understand how you feel because I feel the same way as you since I'm an animal lover and it makes me feel sad everytime I see an animal in need.

Yes I am the same, I cannot watch the adverts on tv without it affecting me for a long time after, I cannot bear that people are so cruel to their animals. I used to feed all the cats where I used to live because no one ever seemed to look after them, they used to come in my garden in some terrible states. I do not know what satisfaction someone can get by being so cruel to them.
