I have a question b/c my mother in law always seems to do this and my family never does this to my husband. When your in laws take a family picture who is in the picture? My mother in law will only take pictures of her grandkids and her kids all together but never with the spouse of her kids. When my family takes a family picture it always includes my husband. He is the father of my children and he did marry into our family so it makes since. Is it just his family or do others do this also?

That's just mean. I refuse to associate with my in-laws so I don't really have that problem, but that is definitely messed up. Tell your husband how you feel and ask him to have a word with her about it.

What a witch with a "B" does she do this with just you or to all the in-laws? She has a problem with letting people in to her life it seems.
To me it is part of her family because you married her son. You gave her grandchildren.
Will she take a photo of you and her son?
I would not want to be around that woman.

Hi Mflower, I would be very hurt if I was excluded from family photos in this way, have you spoken to your mother-in-law about it. It is almost like telling you that you don't belong and wondering what it really says about her as a person. I am pleased to hear that your family do include your husband he is faily by marriage and by being the father of your children as you say. Ellie :D
