What do you prefer to use for your buying convenience? I prefer to have my debit card coz no need to carry lots of cash, besides nowdays, lots of department store right now is accepting it. By the way it's easy to apply too .. hehhe

Well if your talking about debit cards then i think that is the best thing next to cash. But if you're talking about credit card I would prefer cash instead of credit card. Credit cards might be convenient too but it will become inconvenient once you have failed to pay it since you'll be penalized heavily or interest will just pile up on you. But since you said it debit card it is as good as cash so it is really the best to carry around than cash.

We used to have three active credit cards a year ago and I considered that we're fortunate enough to be approved of all three. But I found out a little later that it was the opposite. As expected, we overused it for practically anything, from the basic commodities to our luxuries. As a result, we exceeded our credit limits and sadly enough, they were barred from the card system. I have to admit that we weren't able to pay all of our monetary obligations with these three credit card companies. Luckily, I was able to pay-off the whole amount last January of the present year in one of these cards. The second one, we still have a thousand pesos or approximately two hundred twenty dollars. While the third one, we still owe the card company about eight hundred dollars. It was absolutely our mistake of overusing the cards and not paying the whole amount immediately. Penalties, surcharges, and additional interests have accrued on the bills already. So, I told myself to pay-off all of it as soon as our finances permit us and I'll try my best not to be tempted of using credit cards again. Hopefully, we'll have enough funds to live by and not rely on the cards.

im not really an avid fan of credit cards. i always had this notion that if i cannot purchase an item with cash, well, i dont think i should buy it. i have had a credit card since i was in college, and up to now, i have yet to use it. for me, it is just a 'stuffing' in my wallet. grocery items i pay with cash, as well as overhead utilities. i just cant see myself owing an institution money. and do not get me started with their hefty interest rates. i know that interest rates will only hurt you if you did not pay you credit card bills in full. still a lot of individuals fall in this abyss even with knowledge of such fact.

Credit card? No we don't have credit card but we don't bring much cash either. We use my husband's ATM card for purchases and in some supermarket. It's a little hard to get money from the ATM specially payday, so instead of withdrawing he just use the card.
