It appears that Metallica has released a sneak peak to their upcoming album, Death Magnetic, and it can be found here http://metallica.com/index.asp?item=601119 Metallica has been touting this album as a throwback to their old preLoad and ReLoad days. i was very skeptical since their St Anger was so horrible. This new song is almost eight minutes long. And i feel it has more elements of the Load albums than Ride The Lightning. All in all it is a great improvement over St Anger and if this song is any indication of what is to come, then i don't think i'll be disappointed. What do you think? Does The Day That Never Comes pique your interest? Or did St Anger completely ruin Metallica for you? \m/

hmm "The day that never comes", sounds like, Fade to black specially on the chorus part and even transition from slow to fast, ive listened to it again and again and it DO sound like fade to black. But i like the new song intitled "Cyanide", St. Anger album is different from any metallica album since it does not feature guitar solos and is short but if you listen verry closely it is still "heavy". Ill make my judgement on the new album once i bought it. for now \m/ rock on metalheads \m/

I have been listening to metal since many years and what I love is Soulfly, MAX who is ever present in my life though,Chimaira, Fear Factory, Dying Bride, and so one, this year I have decided to create a blog on metal and you can check it out. http://medmetal.blogspot.com/ I have listen to Metallica too who says "Everyone who goes through what I have is angry" and when he says "I am not gonna start writing about picking flowers" this is worth being metal man!
