yes, it is kind of depressing at first but you'' get used to it :p as ladyjarhead correctly pointed out, having lots of friends increases your chances of having responses, so if you find one who seems to be nice, then add him/her up! there's no limit to adding friends here! and don't worry. being your loyal sister, i vow to answer EACH and EVERY discussion you post. so you wont' have discussions with 0 responses anymore. :D happy myLotting!

yes I get a little upset when I write a post an no answer like a few days ago i wrote one in memoery of a friend who vanished years ago an not one hit oh well guess i will just take your advise an go on an have agood day same back at you

hi there, don't worry, that can happen to everyone, and have happened to many users including me there are always times when nobody respond my discussions (i mean it, i have several 'zero response' discussions). there are times when only 3 or 4 mylloters are interested to respond my discussions. but other times, my other discussions get lots of responses which is beyond my expectation. i think it's common here. just keep posting and starting your next discussions. quality topics will eventually get what they deserve. good luck!

I believe we've already discussed this, but get that friend list loaded up and you will definitely see a difference! A lot of people respond only to their friends discussions and do it from emails, so if you aren't their friend, they won't even see the discussion at all.

No, that wouldn't depress me... there are far, far worse things in most peoples lives than getting no responses! People either respond or they dont. I think there is more value in posting a discussion which interests YOU but gets few or no responses than posting the 'same old, same old' type of discussions that people rush to answer. Take pride in being an original thinker

yes, i've had some of the same instances. but, i'm thinking i am fairly new here and no one really knows me. don't take it too personally though, you will find friends soon enough. i think the more you post, the more people will remember you and search out your discussions.

I used to; but then I realized that I'm pretty new here,and some discussion are going to get more replies then others. So you just have to keep on starting those discussions and before you know it who'll be getting a lot of replies. Just remember your new here,and the good discussions will come to you. It'll probably be when you least except it.

not to much or sometimes specially if you're waiting for a good reply. but don't be depressed, coz it's not only you who don't receive responses. but anyway just enjoy everything here.... happy posting

Hello rikkabren, Firstly welcome to Mylot and welcome to the club, I have been here for three months and when I do disuscssion I don't ge may respinses as well, may my discussions are not very instresting, but it would have been nice just to a few, just add some friends and keep posting and soon they will get to know you and they will start responding to your discussions and you will have lots of fun. Good day... No I don't need to be. I mean why should I? This is a forum and all kinds of opinions are welcome whether given or not. If my co mylotterd didn't feel up to it to response to my discussion then they're free not to.

That's okay, it happens to me too. What is the discussion that no one responded to? Maybe because people are busy responding to other topics and discussions and overlooked your discussion. But don't be depressed about this. Just be happy. Enjoy life.

Hello rikkabren. Even i feel sad at times when no one relies to my topics but then i try to thing of even better ones and then do make such topics that people start replying to. Hey, just remember this, you've got those words down on screen and therefore you've got something to say. I think this place is about talking about anything even the most simple. There's always going to be someone that's interested in your subject. All said and done, you probably have more experience at this than me as I have only just started and I'm trying to think about different subjects for discussion as well as joining in other's discussions. Keep peservering I guess.
