As a Chinese, I know a little about cooking. But still enjoy the mysterious lines on mix & match. In the book of Stone Story, the most famous novel written by Cao, cooking rises to a high art level. When you ate some delicious food, you even can't spot what it is! oh, I'd like to enjoy eating rather than cooking.Haha!

No, I cannot cook, but I am learning how to cook little-by-little. My boyfriend and I were learning how to make Yaki Soba.

Yaki Soba is a Japanese dish that is commonly eaten in Japan, and my boyfriend and I are doing our best to learn how to create Japanese dishes so that we can have different things to eat other than Irish food and American food. My boyfriend is half-Irish, and I am everything under the yellow sun.

Yeah, I'm pretty decent at it. Chocolate chip cookies, scones, shepard's pie is my favorite thing to cook.
I've prepared christmas dinner before...um...
I've tried some asian style dinners, with marginal success.
All kinds of things. Most recipes I try turn out pretty well ^_^'
My Mom particularly likes how I make my hashbrowns, and I go back and forth between making delicious pancakes to just okay ones, lol.

Yeah, I don't cook many insta-bake things heh ^_^
Used to be more expensive to NOT cook things from scratch with my family, so I expect that's where I got it from.

Hey apples99,
I'm 33 years of age and I can honestly tell you that my cooking skills are limited! My favourite dish is spaghetti bolognese and I can definitely cook that. I just pile the spaghetti on with loads of sauce and by the time I have finished, I have collapsed on the sofa!! I love pasta, those twist things! I also generally have two boiled eggs for breakfast as they are high in protein and I guess I want to build a little muscle, not asking for much!! I have a real weakness for cheesecake, chocolate being my favourite. I've never tried turkey bacon whatever that is but hey, I'm an optimist and willing to try new foods!!

I can cook, and I'd put it at above average. I started at a very young age too and kept practicing whenever I could. I have too many favourite dishes to list (some listed in mylot discussions from way back when). These recipes span several different types/origins of cooking (US, Mexican, German, French, Japanese). There are also makeshift works here and there. But one recipe I keep working on and adjusting is chili. I've made a heartwarming variant, a classic item of mine and some firehouse variants.

Cooking is one thing I do know how to do. I will try to cook just about anything. If something sounds good to me I will try to make it. Tomorrow night I am going to try my second Indian Dish. I already have one I am really good at doing, but I am ready to expand. I love to cook different ethnic foods.

Hi ya apples99
I am not a very good cook at all but I get by and do ok for my kids. The best thing I like to cook is fish with a homemade cheese sauce with steamed brocolli and cauliflower with a mashed potato topping and then popped in the oven to crisp the off the top!

I love cooking. I have high interest with cook books and cooking programs on TV... and I actually dream of having a restaurant of my own. Dishes in the Philippines have rich flavors coz Filipinos are fond of eating, so if you'll have the chance to visit our country, you must try our sinigang which is my speacialty and caldereta...

I love to cook but sometimes it gets old when you have to every night, anyways I found this recipe for meatloaf and you make it with chicken stuffing and bbq sauce very good!!
all you need is:
1 lb lean hamburger
1/2 box chicken stuffing
2 eggs
chopped pepper and onion
1/4 cup bbq sauce
you mix it all together
shape it in the oven pan like an oval
bake at 350 for bout an hour
you can add additional bbq sauce on top

I can cook a couple of dishes, and I can follow instructions on packets as well. I cook for my younger brother and I quite a lot, but most of the time I will just do some oven chips and a ready made pizza. We do make our own pizza some of the time though, which is fun.
We're getting cookery lessons in college this year to 'prepare us for university' so I guess I shall be able to cook a lot better then!

I think I can cook pretty good, haven't had any complaints from my hubby so far. I can make a pretty good lasagna myself, it takes a little while to do it but its worth it. I like to use cookbooks, I've tried so many recipes, and thats actually how I learned to cook, just trying things out.
