Are you an addict?

So that was what was keeping you away for so long then ah? It was a long time that you were away for this time, you must be burning it out with all the time that you are on it for! In answer to your question, no I am not addicted to myLot, not anymore. I was when I first joined I had to be on it all day, everyday. Now, I can get by with just coming on for a couple of hours, there have even been a couple of days that I have not come on it until the evening time.

Hiya Hatley, glad to see you back here...I had even started a discussion about missing friends and was thinking of you in particular...glad to hear it was only computer problems and nothing serious like health problems....Yes, I'm completely addicted to MyLot and am usually here everyday...but sometimes other things get me busy and I won't have as much time to devote to being here--like right now I've been busy with writing up my grant work that I'm hoping to get...I'm nearly finished and hope to mail things off next week.

I do have to agree with you that Mylot is mighty addictive. Though I haven't been as active as I usually am this summer and trying to get back into the swing of things. I've been addicted to Pogo Scrabble since it came out and spend way too much time playing it instead of Mylotting. I do try to respond to a few discussions a day, but need to make myself get back into that addictive habit of responding to a dozen or more discussions a day. Glad your back mylotting again!

Yes I am addicted to mylot and have already requested mylotters if there is any cure for this addiction. I too had interenet problems for over two weeks and was feeling quite lost then.

I can say that I'm becoming an addict to mylot.. I used to enter other sites wile I was working.. but after mylot, nothing is the same, I just wanna enter here and start posting, having discussions and meet friends.. I can say that I'm new here but in this time is the only site that I'm visiting.

Glad to have you back Hatley. I wondered where you had gone to. Glad to here all is ok with you and that your computer is back up and running. I haven't been online much, busy with getting my son ready for school and other things.

I think I have an addictive personality when it comes to about anything but I realize that so I try not to let myself get out of control. I can tell when I am getting to that point and I have to make myself take a break. I set a time limit for mylot, which helps and I don't go past that. I used to check my posts in the morning but now I limit it to night time.

They do have a Mylot anonymous, don't they.. You may need to check into it and see for sure, you may find a bit of help there, lol.. A couple of months ago, I had problems with my cable provider and had to go without the internet for about a month, it almost killed me.. My husband was staying as far away from me as he could.. I would sit at the computer and play games and try to sign on, it was pathetic.. I did get it straightened out and made the cable guy stay here until I got signed back on, I wasn't about to let him leave until I knew for sure that I could sign on.. We are pitiful, aren't we?? Yes, i can say i am an addict too. I can never start my day without going over mylot though, often times i am running late for work. Mylot surely has turned me into an addict, i have all my friends notification turned on, so i know what is going on with them. I really enjoy it here. Happy mylotting!

First of all WELCOME BACK HATLEY!!! You were definitely missed by so many!!! We are so glad that you are back and that you are ok. I can tell you that there are many of us that were quite worried about you Ms. Hatley! It's so not like you to disappear without telling anyone what was going on! As long as everything is ok now! Yes, I am an addict! I have trouble staying away from Mylot!. I am here until all hours of the morning and then I get up and check emails and then I come home and do it again and then I start to answer and then I can't stop myself until 3-4am est time! I am a crazy mylot maniac! I just love answering my friends discussions! I have such a great time! It's so much fun for me, since I can't sleep anyway and I love to type. It's great excercise for my fingers at least! Well my dear Hatley it really is so great to have you back and I'm so sure this discussion is going to break all kinds of Mylot records with all the friends that missed you so much! Addiction has to be the word!!! It's nice to see how others respond to your views and opinions. I guess you could also look at mylot as being a kind of blog! You can share your thoughts on life, your own personal experiences about absolutely anything. Am I addicted? Definitely! Am I getting a buzz out of this? Absolutely. I am a new myloter ,so I am not addicted to mylot as deep as you.However I dont know wether I will fall in love with it.Since I logined in this website I find it is interesting and I can enjoy myself by discuss questions with friends from different countrys.It is a good website.

Not any more. I am glad to see you are back. What a shame you could not use a computer at the library or perhaps get a friend to make a posting for you. It seemed some people were concerned about your disappearance.

I'm glad to see you back Hatley. We all wonderd about you and missed you. As for being a mylot addict, I think I used to be when I started here over a year ago. Now I'm not at all. I could go days without being tempted to go on mylot. I don't like to let my friend's discussions get backed up for me to answer, so I try to get to those. I do all their discussions before any other ones. I think maybe my lack of interest in mylot is due to just having some trouble right now in my own life. You know what I mean, when your brain is tired from every day life, it doesn't seem to work on command, even at mylot. : )

Hello Patsie, Welcome back but you sure are crazy! I am not addicted to myLot. I can stop myLotting forever and probably won't miss it. But I do pop by every now and then to touch base with my myLot friends. Curb your addition!! HA!

Hi friend,Yes am addicted to mylot,but my hub and daughter shouts at me whenever they see me typing posts.They ask me are you crazy?But they dont know how much informative this site is.I cant explain to them bcoz they are insane.Thanks for sharing.Happy mylotting.
