why? the snitching? the ads? the error messages? not making the money you were led to believe you would get? Do tell...

Regarding Yuwie- I'm very close to leaving Yuwie..It appears that to make money there,it almost has to be a full time effort..Some people telling others what they are doing at the moment..what their mood is..and when they eat & go to bed..Who really cares?..And disagreements & vengeful paragraphs & diatribes when someone disagrees with someone else's opinions..People adding friends to add to their portfolio, never to contact them again..or take a genuine interest in them..I joined to add business contacts & encourage & make others laugh or smile..I'm not certain if I did or not..Never received a thanks or acknowledgement!..Anyway, I would certainly like to hear from others on this subject. Regards, and Blessings, Steve Pollard

Was talking to a guy who got locked today. He has 103,000 referrals and only makes about $50 a month there. But I have met some really nice people there so I'm staying. My friend's list is too large for me to be able to keep up with everybody though, so I am guilty of only keeping up with the ones who keep up with me. I will probably be paring it down soon.

The first time I heard of Yuwie, I already feel and know that it's too good to be true. There's no easy money and what more with opening an account like a social networking site and getting paid for participation. That sounds like too easy money and if it's really true, even I would jump into the stint. But this bandwagon has seen lots of complaints and although I've heard that it does pay, but in very little sum and not worth the time at all. I would much rather spend my time in mylot, uploading my blog constantly and writing reviews.

If you are there for the money, you need to get a LOT of referrals. And then still not enough to live off of, not nearly. I stay because I have a lot of friends there.

I'd say friends are a weak punch for me, so leaving a site would be hard, so I know where you are coming from with this...

Hey! I recognize you from Big Crumbs! I just joined Yuwie a few days ago. I created a few clubs there. My opinion is it's nicer than MySpace (what isn't?). Kind of a bummer to learn I'll only make peanuts, but I kinda figured as much. I'll give it a month. At least it pays something. MySpace and Facebook doesn't. The constant barrage of friends is overwhelming, which is why ya definitely have to adjust your e-mail notice settings as ya don't want notices filling up your e-mail box. How long you been on Yuwie?

HI - I've been on Yuwie for a year this month. There are a lot of really nice, warm, genuine people on Yuwie. But as far as money, you will need a LOT of referrals, active ones, to make more than just a few dollars a month.

Ok, I just signed up with yuwie and judging from the things I've seen on this topic, I guess I won't ever sign in to it anymore. Thanks for the feedbacks. :)

I'm still there. I like the people. But like I said, the site has problems...

I do have an account at Yuwie, but haven't logged in probably about a month. It takes way too much time to invest with page views to earn anything there. I much rather invest my time at Mylot and respond to discussions to earn at least something. Besides I've always found mylot more appealing than Yuwie.

Well as far as the money goes, you can definitely do better here. Unless you are really, really good at getting referrals! But then the same could be said for getting referrals here... I have fun on both sites for different reasons. I like the discussions here a lot but sometimes they get repetitive. And I like the people on Yuwie, the blogs, etc. Things I don't like there too though.

I didn't leave Yuwie yet. I still logged in there if I have time. I check how my referrals are doing and to say Hi to some of my close friends there. I have been very impatient whenever I view pages there it takes a long time to open it. And whenever I send comments, it says my session has expired so I have to send it again. Whenever that happens, I just logged off.

I haven't had any problems with slowness! Or having my session expire either...

I have been serious thinking of leaving. First of all like you said; the adds, people reporting on other people for spamming, the error messages, and no one hardly no one response back to your comments or anything. I put a blog in about MyLot and left a message in the notice board. No one read my blog. So I think I'm going to tell yuwie they can keep dime and say good bye.

I still think that Yuwie is a good place to have fun and meet new people and they can help us out if they sign up for our programs. As for the money? Definitely not a good place for it. Just expect the worse thing.

I haven't left, but I don't log in much anymore. I tried it out, and will stay passively, just keep my page up and log in once in a while, but it is definitely not all it's made out to be.
