Greetings all. I just got back from resolving a conflict issue with the Opera Browser. Its just an issue where new tabs weren't appearing and old tabs looked like they didn't close. In case you are having this tab glitch, you have to go to where the tabs are on your browser (typically the top, above the address bar). You right click and choose "customize". Look at "placement" and choose something other than "top" or whatever your default is. Click okay and get back to your browser. The tabs should appear and close normally now.
Huh... not really a discussion is it? Well, anyone else having some "ugh" moments from their web browser? The only other point of discussion I can think of is, how many computer, programming, software issues have you solved in your time and what's the feeling you get from that. Me personally, it was something years ago, but due to expertise its just a slight feeling of accomplishment. I guess it depends on the tech task at hand.

Well, honestly I have no idea what Opera 9.52 is. lol
We have been having trouble with both of our laptops recently though. Well, more than just trouble with mine, it won't boot up at all. Thankfully, that lady at Acer was really helpful. I guess we never registered our computer. We bought it over a year ago, but she registered it so that they would cover it under the warrenty for us.
His laptop has been bombarded with pop-ups. It is a government computer so most websites that could have infected it with spyware are blocked automatically but they still seemed to get in somehow. Whenever we think we have gotten it cleaned something else pops up. Annoying!

well I have wireless Internet and sometimes I can load any page, it will say page not found, i'd have to hit the repair button, or restart computer, but the other day I had to turn of the router all together wait about 30 sec. and turn it back on. It does that ever now and then, it's really annoying when i'm in the middle of something online and it kicks me off, or when i can't get on all together and i need to be online for something. and they way i fell when i fix the problem is relief.
