MyHPF is a very good site if you search with care. Nowadays, I'm with about £2, being member of it for 10 days. Yeah, you do have to go slowly, or they remove a number of searches you do. Actually, I'm doing 30-35 searches by day, but I don't know what's a safe number neither what's a safe interval between the searches.
