Anyone play mugen?
I know, real street fighter fans don't play Mugen.
For those who don't know, mugen is a game for windows where you can download custom and "original" characters for games like street fighter, MVC, mortal Combat King of fighters etc. and have them all fight eachother. As you can imagine, there are a lot of things that can make this game annoying, but with some patience you can design a pretty even roster.
Me and my friends just play because its on my laptop, and we can play with my wireless 350 controllers (with a microsoft gaming receiver). So its like a portable Street Fighter system.

I don't play it but I know all about it. For those that don't know, there are more than enough videos on youtube and veoh. I mean some of the matches are pretty neat (2 vs 2: Ryu & Evil Ryu vs Ken and Violent Ken was one of the best), but other times the play seemed odd. Rosters I'm not too picky on, plus I'm one to encourage sillyness from time to time (It was funny seeing Winnie the Pooh beat up Kyo).

Ah, that was a good match, kind of typical but that's something to like about it nonetheless.

I use to play that on our computer and have a decent roster of characters.. I really wanted un-upgraded ones but, I wasn't really lucky on finding some.
Then, I eventually had to get rid of the game due to it taking too much space on the computer but, knowing that I can get it again online, patience indeed is worth while to build up lists of playable characters..
Really impressive when you get to see outrageous matches.. (^0^ )

M.u.g.e.n. is pretty cool. If you get a chance check out "Mugen: Battle Zero" cool interface, 150 characters, 200 backgrounds plus more... not a bad way to check out mugen if you never heard of it before. the guy that made it worked on it for like 6 months.(i think its about 1.3 gigs)
p.s. Hey! Any guesses on what M.U.G.E.N. could mean? Heres a Clue... (it was originally a shooting game)

I Personally Love this engine. Great for mixing up the fighters once in a while.
