First you need to have a lot of active friends. the more friends you have, the more people will see your discussion and thus you get more responses. And then you need to start discussions which are interesting and unique and something anyone can respond to. Also, people like discussions which are a bit easy to respond to. Hey for getting the more responses to the discussions you need to find the topic that interest the most of the people for example if we are talking about the music then you should talk about the latest albums or the artists.So one thing that you should keep in your mind is that always try to involve in the discussion to the best way you can. In case if you are already getting much responses for some of the discussion you started then you must be replying to the people responding to you otherwise the visitors make a wrong view about you. you can get many response on your discussions if it is very interesting topic that even a child can share their ideas. so far my highest response earn from fellow myLotters got a total of 75 response, i am very happy when i checked my post that got huge number of response. this means that you posted a very interesting topic that many members can participate.

Well its not gonna affect moneywise so dont worry about it, yeah it depends on people its not that theres some magic you put that people would get spell bound and just respond you, depends on what kinda discussion you've made.
