Have you ever been awarded best response and not known why?

I don't know lol. Nowadays, I seldom check if I deserve a best response. I get them on and off and am thankful for each one but that's that. I don't overly "fuss" over it. Long ago, maybe when I first start getting best responses, I would be as excited as a child but things sort of become numb now. Cheers!

Yes, I have been awarded. I know that someone award me with best response it means that we give a good post to him. Only The starter of discussion can give the best response. So try to make as good as your post then you will get the best response and it will increase your reputation. With this it support me to do another quality post again. keep post Happy myLotting...

I myself felt that a couple of best responses that I have got were not entirely known why? But, what the heck, as long as the author feels this is the best response, so be it. Who's complaining here :) Cheers! Ram

maybe sometimes there are people that mark a best response without reading posts...?? uhm i don't know what to say. and i don't understand if you gain something more if you remember to mark a best response in all of your posts. do you know it?

Yes, many times, but that is okay because my star is slowly going back to normal with each great response I get.

i got 5 best responses and like u, i dont know why and it surprised me a lot to have those best response. my only purpose is to respond in their discussion so im not expecting to have one but it feels good and great getting a best response. but anyway, i would like to thank to those who chooses my discussion as the best response.

I used to get best responses and most of the time i couldn't say why... But that's old past But It does feel good to get one, hope to get one soon And yes, only starters can award the Brs as it's Their discussion.

I haven't really thought of that actually. In my case, I am always thankful if I am given the best response. I receive that with open arms. Also, it is subjective. It all depends to the maker of the discussion if he or she understands and likes the answer. Enjoy.

Yes, i've been marked response many times before. It's really a humbling experience once your response has been chosen. I think that one should be marked the best response depending on the quality and sense of what the person wrote as his/her response. No need for flowery words but I think someone should be awarded as best response based on the quality of words chose, transparency and honesty of the person and if it really suits the interest of the people.

Hi hawkbat! Yes I've been awarded best response several times already and I am proud of it. Everytime I am chosen best response it uplifts my spirit to make more quality responses and to respond more to discussions. Responding more to discussions gives me more chances of being chosen best response. If ever I receive notification from mylot for a best response I try to check the discussion again to see what topic is it and to review what response I've made. Sometimes when I read my response again, I am surprised to have noticed that I do have a talent in explaining things. Modesty aside but mylot has really helped to express myself more and improved my english alot. With regards to who can choose the best response, I think only the discussion holder can. Responders can only rate some of the responses made. Ciao!

I just got my first best response. I do not know why I got it but I am really pleased. It makes it even better than the ordinary discussions I have participated in. I am really happy.

I have been awarded best response for my posts a couple of times. But I think after all I deserved those. All my replies are always too the point I feel and I never go off track or get diverted from the topic that is in discussion. After all its the person judging our response who finds it the best so in his opinion its good. So congratulations for get a best response and hope you get many more too. I did not get any best respondse yet ,and I have no Idea how could i will get it cos i know by english writing is not good enough to get those best response for sure .I mean my english is like a child who practice waking and still have a long way to go so someday if my english is better and I got the best response I will sure back to share with you best regards and have a nice day

Yes i think its just the starter of the discussion that can award a best response, its their discussion afterall. I've had 3 best responses so far and its a really nice thing to achieve, it makes you feel you've responded well and that your response was helpful, even if you thought it wasn't as good as other responses obviously the person that have you a best response did :)
