Sweet but sinful? What is your favorite dessert?

When I eat, I never felt satisfied, not until I have had my share of dessert. Anything sweet would do for me, but when there's cake and ice cream, I can't simply refuse. They're very tempting and I usually give in to the temptation. Consuming sweets more than the body needs is not beneficial, especially if you don't exercise often. These are usually converted into triglycerids (a bad fat) and stored in he body. These triglycerides when occurring in very large amounts in the body will tend to make you more prone to heart conditions or diseases by clogging your blood veins and arteries. Hence, elevated triglycerides should be avoided for your good health. What about you? are you like me, who can't resist the temptation of dessert? What is your favorite dessert?

Ya for me too, the dessert is necessary after meals. I too can't do without it. I prepare cakes quite often for after meals. My brothers too love that.Whenever we go out for dinner, ice cream is a must after we have had the food. My Mom can't go without an ice cream, she loves it. I like cream cakes very much, I simply can't stop eating it. But then yes, that's why I probably think that I have put such a lot of weight recently. I knew that lots of sweets do raise the level of sugar in the blood but I never was aware of the heart problems rising due to it. Well thanks for such a valuable amount of information. I think I should take care of this dessert thing now but frankly speaking, I just can't simply stop eating it.I am also like you, right, who can't resist the temptation of dessert.

That's tough. I like to make healthier sweets like cakes and cookies sweetened with fruit juices and oils/shortening replaced with fruit puree. I love homemade oatmeal raisin (or oatmeal raisin chip) cookies...those are tough for me to resist.
