Just to be a pain in the buttocks to them, sometimes I have replied and said, "Please send me my money. This is my lawyer's name and address. Make the check out to him and he will distribute it to me."
Most times it comes back undeliverable and of course no reply on the others. I don't get the point! Are people that stupid?

Forward all spams to spam@uce.gov. That's where I send them all.
I have replied, now and then, many times over the years, and no one has hacked into my computer. I have massive amounts of protection programs on my computer, that were put on by a computer geek that went to school with my daughter. He is amazing.

You cannot win lottery or sweepstakes that you didn't enter, so you know it's a scam. The problem is that any communication from you even if you don't give them personal information can give them an opening to your computer. You never know what a hacker is capable of and you don't want to find out. They can steal your identity so easily it's really scary.

These days, many email related scams are happening, so if someone receives such type of mail, the person should get knowledge of each and every thing related to the mail like mailid, company which is giving lottery etc. So only after you have done full interrogation go for it..

Oh! now I know that I am not alone on this scam victim. After few days signing up in yahoo mail, i receive those scams. And I am not aware of this kind of scams so I follow what they ask me to do. They need you to play a lotto game you ask to select the best number you want and then submit to theme. After playing the lotto another step is you enter your information and lastly is your Bank account number. Aha..... that's totally scam. Its better i dont have bank account so I leave it. But everyday I receive mails stating that I have to claim my pending prize! My problem now is how to stop them sending mails.

i do, and it is true i'll be more than a billionair....
one time. instead of answering them back with their requirements i ask a question then they answered back with a thank you and here's your airwaybill number in receiving my price. then another time, they do replied my question and attached is the informations they needed then below the message has the prices of the courier e.i. dhl for $400 which is so funny coz even though there is an insurance still it will not cost that much... so whenever i receive such winning stuffs i just play around with them by send a MAY GOD BLESS YOU!!!!

I DO a lot of times and if it's true i'll be a billionair now....
one time instead of answering them back with the requirements they need, i sent them some questions and in return they said, thank you and here's your airwaybill number... and then another time, they had replied on my msg and answered my questions which is good but in the end they have provided a list of courier service i can choose in sending my price. and guess how much the courier costs and it can not be deducted to the price e.i. dhl $400, which is funny coz i don't think that they will accept a cheque to be delivered and beside it will not cost that much if they do. so now i always send them back a message with MAY GOD BLESS YOU!!!!

Oh yes my dearest, it is a scam. Good thing you are aware of this! It also annoys me and it does not come just once but almost every day ha! I hate them for messing my mailbox everyday.
A friend of mine fell victim of this scam. He admits he was so stupid to believe he won in a lottery that he did not even join. He paid some amount to cover the processing fee which the scammer demanded of him during the course of their negotiation. After he remitted the amount, the scammer did not send mail anymore. The poor fellow is now crying in despair. So beware !

My friend can't even tell me.. how much! He'd rather not talk because it's adding salt to the wound he has. So I did not insist on asking. Suffice it to say that he was fooled and he should blame himself because he did not listen to my warning!

Few months ago, i've also received an email informing me that I won the jackpot. I just ignored it because i know it's a scam! i never joined a lottery or any contest online so it's really impossible for me to win any amount of money.

I remember a woman who won i think it was 100 million kronas. She had to give there account information and she was stupid enough to do it and they stole 2 million kronas from her just too bad she cant get them back. And some other guy he wasnt scammed but he just got alot of money because of a account information mistake. Some bank from denmark had to send 400 million dollars i think. But by mistake they sended it to a 68 year old man with the message saying a little present from us. Well kind bad but it also says account information can be messed up. Too bad for me i always get a email saying i won every day i get like 5 emails saying i won and it is really annoying.

I get those types of e-mails every day it seems. UK Lottery, Microsoft Lottery, etc etc. It's getting rather annoying to open my mailbox and see a bunch of scams waiting for me.
Every day I also get the Nigerian scams ("we're contacting you because we need to transfer funds of 50 million dollars and you get to keep a percentage"), although now they're using other countries as well. Thank goodness for the delete button! I don't understand how these people get away with this junk... and there's people that still fall for it.

i don't even open mails up like that. Only lotto i play is the kind where you buy the ticket from the store. Most emails like that are scams to get your personal information, or just to get your hopes up.
there is a reason why they go to your junkmail most of the time..because it is junk.
