I thought we got to use emoticon at 200 posts?

I read in a few discussions here that once you reach 200 posts you could use emoticons, but it seems I can use them already but not here. I just responded to someone elses discussion and it had the button on there for me to open up and use the emoticons. Yet now that I'm starting my own thread there is nothing. I'm very confused. Anyone have any clarification on this?

Your post is 36, there is 164 post left to use emoticons ... but me my self i can't find where the smiley places is, so i never use smiley emoticons on my posts _

The smileys are on the left side of the box where you write your post. The label is mylot code.
You can use it. You're over 200 posts.

hello... dude its not on 200th post, its in 200th rank that you can use the emoticons code of mylot.. Kindly read again.. You might read it wrong.. Keep posting mate and happy mylotting.. keep posting your experience here =)

You will always see the buttons there but when you go to publish your post with a smiley I think you will find that a red error message will come up saying you can't add a smiley until you reach 200. If this is NOT the case and this error message doesn't appear; then enjoy the glitch and make the most of it! lol.

I haven't actually tried it yet. I just saw it today. Guess I just missed it earlier. But it's probably not a glich, I probably can't use it yet. No biggie. I'll survive without emoticons. Yep just tried it. And it does say rank of 200. So is it rank or posts. Most peole have said they could use it once they had 200 posts.

Hi sabbatha, You will only be able to use the emoticons
when you reach your 200th post. Don't worry you will
get there soon enough. I know now that it feels like
you will never reach 200, but believe me it will happen
and it will happen alot faster than you think, take my
word for it. You are just starting out so it feels like
it will take forever, but once you get yourself going it
will get easier. Just keep posting and before you know it
you will have the 200 posts and the emoticons will be
there for you to use!

Ya you are right. It will have the option open only. But when we are using it in our discussion, mylot will just check if you have crossed 200 posts. If so it will allow you to post otherwise it will display an error message saying that you have to cross 200 posts for posting smilies. The option will be open to all but will work only when we reach 200 posts. Happy mylotting.
