I am nervous about tommorrow.

I am having blood word done tommorrow to see if i have a problem with my Thyroid. I have been losing hair for a little while now. It wasn't that bad before but when I started notcing that I was locing it at the toop of my hair I got worried. I thought that it might of been the medication or shot that I take three times a week so i called my nerologist about it and then I was told to get my regular doctor to have my thyroid tested. It could also be the reason I have a problem with my weight. So I am nervous. I am not really sure what happens with people who have a high thyroid. I have tried all kinds of diets my whole life and I gain weight really easy. At the same time I admit that I do over eat. I have tried all kinds of diets. They work for awhile really well and then they don't work as well. Anyhow please keep me in your prayers that everything will be alright and I will find out why I am losing my hair.

hm yah, that is one symptom of having thyroid problem...i have a hypothyroidism another reason why just before i was taking my chemo i was losing my hair tremendously...i hope the results will turn out clear friend...take care always...

I have low thyroid on medication that I will probably be on for the rest of my life. When my thyroid is not working properly I get very cold.

I hope that's nothing serious Shaun. Me i also want to check my thyroid because my neck is kinda fat. They are making fun of me like when I won over a lottery they advice me to liposuction my neck...I will pray for you Shaun.

I do not know how a blood word is done... but i will surely feel the same way if i have to undergo one myself... just keep strong... and hope for the best... at least this will shed light on a lot of your unanswered questions regarding your health... and ultimately find a solution for each of them...

Of course you are in my prayers shaun - I am just sorry that as usual I am along late! i have a suspected underactive thyroid and am just awaiting my latest test results to have it confirmed for definite! I know you already have a lot to deal with but the medication for thyroid problems is very effective and should make life easier! Hugs xxx

shaun dont be nervous,as if you have thyroid trouble your
'doctor will put you on medications to regulate it and make
you feel well again. so no major problems to worry about there.
Just ask all the questions you have with your doctor so your
mind will be put at ease. then you will be just fine.

I still have to make a doctor's appointment to see if this is the reason why I am having hair loss. I also take a shot three times a week since I have multiple sclrosis. That could be causing me to loss hair also. If it is then I am not sure what my nerologist will do. If it is from having problems with my Thyroid then I will have to take the pills for it to help me out. Thanks for your concern and your prayer.

I will have you in my prayers, I hope everything turns out good at the doctors office. Maybe the loss of hair is due to stress and worry. I know you said you have did everything to loose this weight. I don't know to much about thyroids, but I had to loose some weight for health reason and I did I really wasn't that big in the first place I lost to much I looked like a walking skeleton to myself. I put some of my weight back on.(lol)
People tell me I look good even family members but I don't see it.
