Well, for my personal desktop PC, the icons are relatively organized and I have a picture of two of my favorite JPop idols as my wallpaper. For the laptop I use for work, it really depends on how busy I am. The nearer I get to an engagement's deadline, the more cluttered my desktop becomes, though I really make a point to organize my files and clean up when the opportunity presents itself. I have our firm's official wallpaper on my desktop, though, which is plain white and gray and yellow, if only because we aren't really allowed to change it.

You aren't allowed to change the wallpaper on your workstation? That's too bad... I'm sure you can find other ways to personalise your workspace though...

Well, widgets are not forbidden but the wallpaper stays. It is part of firm policy, for some reason.

i keep mine very organized. i see to the that the icons i put on my desktop are the ones that use very often. it's not only my desktop that is organized, i always keep documents and other files in specific folders, i segregate them according to whose files they are and their use.

Ooh, you sound like a very neat person to me. I rarely order anything other than my applications, videos and music. Other than that, I just chuck my files into this temporary download folder. Sometimes it gets kinda huge so I delete it and start over.

Well my desktop is always messy and i like it that way. I want to put my icon just the way it was the first time. By this way I know where the icons are and i don't have to keep searching all over the desktop. Also being messy makes desktop looks cool. www.nitesh123.blogspot.com

my desktop is always crowded. i do a lot of work online, so i keep all the things i need in desktop itself so that i can use them easily. i usually clear them once a week, but it gets crowded again in a couple of days. i never change my wallpaper(the rahman photo i kept as wall paper is unchanged for over a month now. i will try to change it now) i was having everything oragnised before but i can't do it now as i have only less time to work... What to do.... we have only 24 hours

Sometimes, Windows bugs me from time to time about unused icons, but I find it more of a hindrance than a help.

My desktop is fairly organized, as all the icons are placed in something resembling order. The wallpaper is a picture I made of my wife and daughter, so, yep, it is something I like

Mine too, as you can see! But I don't change my wallpaper often though. I like this one cause it doesn't cause too much eye clutter and makes it easy to see the icons.
