how do you forgive a person who have wronged you?

I forgive him or her in a way that I don't think of him or her as an enemy. I don't think of something bad about the person. Like you, I also ask God's help and proper guidance to heal the wounds in my heart and to start a renewed life.

Yes, prayer comes first. A friend did me wrong way back, at first I kept my distance. But then after a few years, I've forgotten everything. Were on talking terms again now as if nothing happened. We never talked about the situation anymore. I'm not the type who nurtures grudges, pain and hate. For me, when somethings done, its done and over with. No need to punish yourself with the pain and hurt. Life is short as they say, so enjoy life while you still have it. Its a beautiful world, so why dwell on the ugly side of life.

When you have been badly wronged I don't think you ever really forgive completely, but you have to do the best you can, life is way too short to carry all the baggage, it is best for you to just to put it behind you but you never really forget..

You know, I beleive , forgivness is the best weapon to use for a person who made wrong to You. Since a person do not know better, it´s great to forgive and see the reaction. That is the best in all parts. God has everything to do with it. But not everyone think so.

i wish i have this power of forgiveness. its hard for me to completely forgive someone at that very moment but as time passes by i try to forget. but still there is a minute feeling of hatred somewhere in my heart.
