Is CHROME (the new browser from google) more secure

I just downloaded CHROME and am trying to use it although I find Firefox a lot easier to work with - it's just that I have been using FF for years now. One nagging question on my mind is as to whether CHROME is more secure than Firefox. I use Firefox with noscript and hardly have any problems. Will the experience be the same or even better with chrome?
