The only meal I eat daily is dinner. I do not like breakfast. I prefer to just have a cup of coffee because I have never been hungry in the mornings. I do not care for lunch because it fills me too much to eat dinner. I love to eat dinner, not because of the food, but because this is the time my family and I come together to spend time together and talk about what we all did during the day. It is good company that makes a good meal, me thinks!

I read an article recently about how bad it is for you to skip breakfast. I have been trying really hard not to do that anymore. It is suppose to help you lower cholesterol, burn fat, and in general is the lowest meal of the day as far as calories. I have been really trying hard not to skip breakfast. I work at a restaurant though during the days it is often hard to get lunch. My shifts are usually from like 10-4 and often I do not have time to stop and eat. I have been drinking these fruit drinks by the south beach diet called tide me over. They help me when I do have to miss a meal.

That is a great idea. I do not think I could make myself eat but I could do a vitamin supplement drink. Thanks for the idea.

I feel the same way. I usually do not eat breakfast in the mornings. Sometimes every now and then we will cook a late breakfast on the weekends or have breakfast for dinner, but that's about it. I love to eat dinner too...especially when my grandmother is cooking - its a home cooked buffet!

I too skip my breakfast every day, but you know what, doctors ask us never to skip our breakfast. I usually skip my breakfast, even sometimes my lunch. Even in the night times I eat very less. I just eat it for the sake of eating and not to starve. Else, these days I donot know whats happening to me, I am losing interest in eating food. I find sundays and holidays best times to eat with family members. Even every item tastes deliciously with their company and love.

You must be a Twig! Maybe if someone cooked for you regularily you would want to eat more. I know I would eat a lot more. Family realy does spruce up your appetite and the holidays are nearing soon.

I never skip meals, i see to it that i have breakfast because it is the most important meal of the day. I usually have a light dinner but i dont skip meals since it is not a healthy habit. I had a history of ulcer when i was in high school because of skipping meals and since then i see to it that i always eat something every meals. It doesnt necessary means a heavy one but at least some healthy food intake everyday would help me have a healthy lifestyle

Yes, I do, I actually skip meals here and there, but it is only because I have eaten too much or I am really not feeling too well.

No way, you too! Are you from California because here in California, most of all of us drink 7Up when we are sick. My family does it, most all of my friends and their families do it, and my boyfriend's family does it. It seems like all of us around here drink 7Up when we are sick. One of my friend's once told me that she thought that it was a "Mexican thing". She was not trying to be racist or anything when she said it, and I am not doing it either, I am just quoting her, but I told her that me and a lot of my friends and family do it too. For as long as I could remember my family has been doing that for when people are not feeling well. Do you know how this might have started?

LoL. I am originally from Colorado but I grew up in the military and we were stationed in Barstow and Ocean Side for around 9 years. I am not sure were this came from but I have never known any different. Now My husband, children, and I are living in Germany and I have a tough time getting 7up because every one buys it. Maybe it isn't such a secret anymore, LOL!

When I do not feel well I do not eat either but I love to sip 7up, especially if I am vomitting. It seems to be the only thing that will semi settle my stomach, that and Jello .

The same as me.I always wake up late at 11'clock.so the time past breakfast. In the afternoon,my parents and younger sister don't come home.so i only eat quickly.I love dinner. All my family eat together, talking about everything.I love this feeling,It is warm and happy!but i know it is not health.Breakfast is the most important meals one day.So i will wake up to eat, then sleep again. After full dinner,i will have a walk with my younger sister. It will digest the food in my stomach.

It does not matter what you call it, but your first meal, after you wake, is breakfast because it breaks your nightly fast while you are sleeping. Either way, you must eat within a certain amount of time when you wake and having 3 meals and snacks in between is the most healthy way.

I rarely skip a meal, usually only if I am not feeling well, or on occasion, get so busy that I forget to eat. It's not good for the metabolism to skip meals.
I agree that good company makes for a good meal.

Even if you have a piece of cheese and some protein drink, it's VERY important that your first meal be protein (eggs are best). Boil up some eggs and keep them in the fridge and you can grab two, the perfect fast food.
Avoid sugar and useless carbs for breakfast. Cereal is NOT the best choice for breakfast. When I started eating protein in the morning, my metabolism increased, I feel less hungry later, and have tons more energy. I even can concentrate better.
HUGS!!!

I often skip breakfast. For some reason, I just don't feel hungry in the morning. However, I have heard that it is very bad for you to skip breakfast. So, I've been trying to make an effort to eat it more often. On weekends, we often only have two meals a day. We have a big breakfast and then a meal around 2pm. It works pretty well.

Yes I have Gerd with the terrible chest pains but taking medication and changing what I eat when I eat it seems to help most of the time. Of course skipping meals is probably why I still get the bad chest pains. You would think that I would learn my lesson, instead I chew on Gavascon Extra strength through out the day.

I know that breakfast is the most important meal of the day but still knowing that I
don't always have breakfast. So when I don't I will usually have a protein shake and
make an egg salad sandwich and take it with me for breakfast. I will then eat it around
10 am.
Then by lunch time I am not usually hungry so I will usually just have a piece of
fruit for lunch. Then when I get home from work I will have another piece of fruit
or a cup of hot tea while I am cooking supper.
I always have a supper with meat and salad and vegetables and only a couple times I week
I will have some rice or a potato as carbs are what puts the weight on us. So I limit
my amount of carbs I eat.
Alrighty then, talk to you later my friend,
Have a good mylotting day, Chris

I seldom skip meals. And if ever I skip meal, then its going to be the breakfast.
The reason why I skip breakfast, is because I wake up late, and just a few minutes before lunch time. Then I have to eat lunch.

I could go for a late breakfast at 10 am. Early morning is not good for me. All I like early morning is my coffee. But when I eat that late I tend to not want to eat until dinner, which makes it hard
