Why do you like shift delete? There are two keys.
I don't often use delete in fact because I'm very lazy and my screen is full of useless signs.

Yep, I use shift+delete as well. But only for things I wanna get rid of right away. If i'm not sure if I still need it i'll just use the normal delete. But, like you, I still tend to lose some important data which i had carelessly discarded.

Hi pkraj, this has happened with me too, I always used to use shift+delete and whoa the most important of my files go down the drain! So, I have made a conscious decision since then to restrain from using the shift before the delete. I let all files go into the recycle bin and one fine day I clear the recycle bin. It's kinda a safe thing to do lest you delete something very important.

i very rarely use shift delete for fear of it becoming a habit. i have deleted files that aren't supposed to be deleted and i am sooo thankful i have a recycle bin so i can restore them. i have used shift once of twice but at that time i was having a problem deleting a file (though i believe it's because my computer was really slow then)

I use shift-delete, if only because I'm not really a fan of full recycle bin icons.

I used Shift + Del. I don't want to store some unneccessary things in my recycle bin folder. If in case I will have something that is included in the delete process, I eventually use the Time machine software to go back the date where I delete my files.
