I do not understand what you mean by not being able to cut the vegetables well.
Knife sharp edge goes to the portion you want to cut. Press down with pressure and the portion will be cut away.
How tough can that be?
Are you referring to carving your vegetables so that they have "decorations" when you serve them?

Hi youless,
My weak point about cooking is that I am lazy trying new recipe, I will be amaze when hubby cooks new recipe and I will promise to try it by my own but It's hard for me to start a day trying it, I guess cooking is just not in my system, LOL!
I cook but not often, I love to learn but don't give focus on it!

I actually have two of them. First one is trying to properly lower the flame under the pot so that what I am cooking gets properly cooked. If the flame is too low, it does not cook properly, & if the flame is too high, I either end up burning it, or the fluid bubbles over out of the pot, especially if it is covered.
This one might be a common problem. That is forgetting to watch the time. At times, I actually start timing, & then find out I forgot to look at the clock to start timing. Even if I did, the time comes & goes, & sometimes, food ends up a bit overcooked.

Well - the good news is that I have not found a potful of charcoal from overcooking it that much.

Don't laugh my friend but my weak point about cooking is that poor Wolfie CAN'T cook! Well he can rustle up an omelette but sometimes that breaks! And the mere basics but I could never cook up a full dinner, roast or any fancy stuff! I have never had the inspiration to cook or the interest. I am far too impatient and want to eat NOW, not have to spend hours preparing it! Plus I'd be a nibbler too I'd be nibbling as I cooked! So cooking is not one of Wolfie's talents!

My real weak point at the moment is the fact that I don't have a kitchen of my own. I am a very good cook, but I don't have my own space in which to work.

Cooking in general is my week point.
I don't like cooking. I can clean 5 levels of any home if someone can cook....

I just learn to cook now and finally found it so interesting. I still have lots of weakness. I can cut vegetables but can't cut meat or fish. I also have difficulties in noticing that anything that I fry is welldone, instead I made the food overcook. I also ussually made my food too salty.. That's what my husband said.. But it's ok. I'm learning.. and I will improve soon..

Cooking, the major problem is that i only know one dish and that`s pasta other then that i cannot cook, and everyone knows how easy is pasta to cook...also i am really confused about cooking , as i have inner desire to learn how to cook but whenever i try to , i get bored the half way....so i know the recipes of almost all dishes upto only the first 3-4 steps....lol...

I cannot bake at all. It always tastes great but it never looks right, no matter what I do. I have pretty much given up on it.
