My four months old is teething already. I did everything to help her through it, but it seems like nothing is working. I messaged her gums, gave her Orjel teething swaps and still nothing. She just cries and cries on none stop. She's driving me crazy. What do I do to help her with this?!!!

try putting a wet wash cloth in the freezer for abount 30-45 m in and give her that to chew on..also have you tried teething rings? another good idea could be a combo of the orajel and a teething rong or the wash cloth...also as bad as it sounds lightly rub her gums with rum or jack NOT TO HEAVY but that can help as well

I also bought her two teething rings. She doesn't know how to hold on to them for that long to help her with the pain. I help and that doesn't seem to do anything at all.

well, Frozen waffles work great, but you have to be nearby so when they start to thaw they dont choke...Also, those teething rings you can put into the freezer, great invention, I have found with my daughter that, clean fingers work well too. She would chew on my fingers forever until she fell asleep. Hope these help. Sometimes orajel doesnt help, like with my daughter, she would cry more when I put it on her, I think she just hated the numb feeling., It worked for my son, but not my daughter,. Hope I helped a little.

Awww you poor thing I feel your pain I have 4 kids. What I did was I kept popsicles in my freezer and I would give mine Infants Motrin it lasts longer, and then I would give a popsicle untill the motrin kicked in. By the time they were done witht he pop the motrin would be working and things would be nice and quiet again. Hope this helps.

I gave my daughter a cool wet washcloth to suck on. If you do this you have to keep a very close eye on her because if she takes in too much of the washcloth at once she could gag. Teethers help, but they get warm fast. There's always the old way of putting a bit of rum on her gums to numb them a bit...but that's a judgement call on your part...I never did that with my kid.

There are teething tablets you can try just look in the pharmacy for it, put a couple under her tongue and it should help, it worked with my boys. Just have some patient with her, it will pass soon, it's a phase all babies go through and I know it's tough but sometimes nothing helps the babies. It all depends on the child, I hope she gets better soon.

Give her one of those teething rings that have the little bumps on them, they bite on those and suck on them and it helps alleviate it somewhat...put it in the freezer first then give it to her, it's really soothing for them. Bless her little heart, she'll get through it. It worked for my kids, and so did Orajel, but if it isn't for her then try the teething ring with the little bumps. Good Luck!

Put oragel on her gums, and freeze a teething ring that has fluid inside it. That helps alot. Or give her a thick pretzal stick.

Oragel did nothing for my baby. I used tylenol. The one thing that worked wonderful is called Humphreys 100 percent natural homeopathic for teething infants. They are little tiny white balls that you put in their mouths & they disolve. They work great!! I even have used them for my older kids & myself..

My little girl started teething then too. I wraped icecubes in a washcloth and tied a rubber band onto the washcloth so there would be washcloth sticking out for your child or yourself to hold onto and then let them gum the washcloth. I also got a baby washcloth and wet the four corners and then froze the washcloth in the freezer and when my little one started fussing I would grab that out and she would just gum on it forever. Also, at Wal-mart they have a teething toy that vibrates when your little one gums it-- the vibration really helps soothe the pain. I'm not sure if your feeding your child anything now, but when my little girl was 5 months there are these things (also at Wal-mart) called Munchkins or something and they have a handle and a mesh thing on it where you can put food in it (like popsicles, fruit, any type of food) and this way your child won't choke-- but I put icecubes and popsicle chunks in this and this helped tremendously too. I always made the iceships very small because you dont want your child's gums exposed to too much cold or it could damage them (in the case of an icecub). Anyways, I hope this helps. Good luck.. I can't wait for my 15 month old to get all of her teeth :)

You might check at your local health food store for a Homeopathic remedy for teething. They are little white pellets that melt in the baby's mouth and are quite effective. Definitely helped with both of my kids.
