Are there less People on Here These Days?

Well for me, I can't think of a good post these days. I have been a little busy and I am trying to catch up with the posts my friends have started, I fell behind with the Olympics and i haven't caught up yet.

hi winterose I think too that not as many people are making discussions right now, responding but not much in making' discussions. Some of my friends I miss very much when I look for their discussions as I always know they will have very good discussions . these are the sort of discussion that will interest me and help; me to give something back as I can add my feelings and my advice. these make my day here on mylot.

Yeah, it does seem like people are posting less discussions. I still see the same people around I think, they just post less. Every now and again a couple posters have blow ups, but that usually blows over after a while and everyone resumes their posting. I haven't posted as much, and I'm sure with school starting a lot of other people may not have the time. I hope I'll be seeing more discussions from you. I really enjoy them, but of course when you have the time.

I must admit, I don't get on here as much as I used to. I am working 55-60 hours a week and by the time I sit down, I fall asleep. So, I am guilty of being here less

i dont know that there are less here, i just find the topics are not as interesting as they used to be. but in saying that, with fall comes a lot more routine and busyness in people's lives. thats what i think is going on.

I'm here. I don't know if there are less people on here nowadays, though there does seem to be some sort of glitch going on. I had first noticed this the other day when I added someone as a friend and turned on notifications so I could receive discussions from them. I had noticed they had started a couple of new ones when I was logged in, yet never received them in my inbox. It made me think they had deleted me as a friend, but when I went to look on my friends list this person was still on there and the notification was still set to on. Maybe this is what is going on with you as well. Just a thought.

I haven't been on in awhile since Sept 2nd really. But I have noticed that when I am usually gone for several days that my inbox is filled with mylot mails but this time it isn't full. I have heard a few of them are leaving for a bit but are going to check in for a few every now and then..I do hope that you are doing good on AC and that the writing is coming along great.

Think since it has been summer lots have been gone. now school has started they will be back. and then agaon some that posted good have left!

I'm not sure where everyone is these days. I am still getting discussions in my email inbox daily but nothing like I was getting before. I think many people have moved to other places to write and spoend time online and make money. I try to come to Mylot daily and visit other sites as well. I hope more people become active at Mylot soon though.

I have noticed also that it is really quiet in here lately at least a lot less than in the past. I am not one to start discussions because I am not good at it but I do like to respond when I have something to say of interest. I get some email notifications but not like I used to.

I'm not too good at getting discussion started, but I have noticed that I'm not getting a lot of responses. It seems like, unless it's a controversial topic - such as politics - that not too many people are responding.

I have thought that is it quiet here aswell. I have wondered why there wasnt many discussions to reply to. I think everyone is trying to get back into the routine of school, and work after the summer holidays. Come back everyone, we miss you!!!!

I'm still here, winterose! Although I'm sorry I haven't been able to respond to your previous discussions... that's only because, as you know, my hubby is in the hospital and he won't be coming out until the end of this week instead of today, Sept 8th, like he was supposed to. I will try to respond more often from now on because I enjoy the subjects you discuss here :)

I have just joined but i think there are a lot of people, discussions updates all the time i see my interest in the top of the screen thing like computer (1 minute ago) make extra money (34 seconds ago) and never more than 1 hour and the today's top get updated all the time, discussions goes out, new discussions come there and so. Well my point i that i do not feel alone here, maybe, since you are more experienced, there were more people before, but i dont know. Have a nice day.

I do notice that you have to say active here. sometimes I am not here for days and I don't get a lot of replys. I noticed that. How have you been? I hope all is well!

Well I haven't been online much lately due to the busy season at work. All of our fundraising efforts kick in with the end of hte year nearing. Also, was offline all last week because of Hurricane Gustav. We have Ike on the way now, I hope he goes to Texas! So, I'm still here, just not here daily :) I've been online today and have really enjoyed catching up with a few friends. Good to see you posting!

I know what you mean winterose. Sometimes I come on here, and can almost 'hear' the silence, if you know what I mean. It has gotten discouraging of late. I've lost several good friends from here, because they're upset by what's been going on, among some of the members. I heard from another friend today via e-mail, who's taking a break from here, for this very reason. She says she 'may' return. I truly hope so.

Judging by the looks of it, I think most of them are no longer here. Some have left by choice and others left because they were forced to perhaps due to unforeseen circumstances. I left temporarily and when I came back, I saw the regulars no longer there making discussions. I think they just went to take a break or got fed up totally. Whatever their reasons are, I wish them the best. Users like easy888 and others are no longer there and I really miss them so, so much! Anyway, one of the most prominent figures I still see is lordwarwizard and that's awesome. I salute him for sticking it out in mylot. He's one of the veteran users here, . Sings to myself: 'Where have all......the cowboys gone.............'

Hi Winterose, There are a few regulars missing at the moment, taking long breaks, Gizzis mum being one of them, but there are more members than ever. You are in fact one of the ones that I have missed not posting recently but there are indeed many more. I haven't even been as active as usual as I have had my daughters birthday, my son starting school and a new puppy to content with but I am sure it will pick up again. What is really annoying for me is that I cannot send PMs to ask if everything is okay with these people or respond to messages. Ellie :D

i think there is less people.. im not getting as much traffic which i thought was because of the olympics but now its sluggish again.. not many people posting either.. grrr.. whats going on?!?!
